Got queso and its just shredded cheese and its hard like pre hardened playdoe like how am I supposed to eat this? The food took too long and the service guy disappeared quiet often so no not coming back and letting people know not to come here hands down. Food: 1 Service: 3

#35 parrilladas of course can’t go wrong it was really good ! Shredded chicken quesadillas was ok . Jalapeños burger was huge ! Good but the bottom bun got soggy to quick . Sweat tea was great today ! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Went for lunch and it was somewhat busy. Server must have been on break or something, it took a while for someone to come to the table. Server never came back to check for anything. She did have time to put the check on the table though. Offered refills way too late. Shrimp soup was really good though. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼BRAVA! BRAVA! Such a Beautifully decorated restaurant to enjoy a FANTASTIC meal! We've passed by them many times in the past, never stopping in but today....it was time😊! Barbacoa that is absolutely seasoned to TRUE PERFECTION! Now, if you're considering others within your party, you can request potatoes rather than beans, either are delicious! Personally though, I prefer the potatoes, again PERFECTLY seasoned! And, the important question....WHAT ABOUT THE EGGS?!? O, absolutely cooked MARVELOUSLY! It's such a treat to order Over Medium and actually get them that way! Fresh, Hot Homemade Tortillas to enjoy your meal is just tummy pleasing! So YUMMY! The Service is great too 😉! And, if you don't want breakfast, no worries, you can order anything from their Full menu! It was my pleasure to be a hungry Critic this morning! The food is really good, the quesadias are really good especially the shrimp ones,they give you your money's worth of food for sure and the sweet tea isn't too bad either. The restaurant is kept pretty clean and the service isn't bad but they need to check on their tables a little more often. We've eaten here at least 5 times in the last 2 years,we travel to Ingleside once a year. I don't even want add a star very poor customer service. They made a mistake forgot one of my plates blamed me for forgetting it and not checking my food before I left. The girl that answered the phone told me if I wanted my correct food to bring back one of the plates they gave me by mistake. I had no problem doing that but the way she asked as If I wanted to keep something I didn't even order. So I went back brought them all their food and asked for a refund which she denied and no manager on sight. I had to wait until the manager answered and getting bad looks from another waitress and the cook yelling out the back to call the police over a refund. Will never go back there. This place was great! Come in, seat yourself and order some great food! I opted for the Molcajete! It was hot from the first bite to the last. My only suggestion is it would have been nice to have ambient music playing while we ate. Except for the conversations and restaurant noice, it was kind of quiet. I'm not a real fan of hearing myself or others chew. Did I mention the Molcajete was awesome?! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20

All right this one hurts my heart to write. This is a place I have been to15? times and in addition to the driver thru. I have bragged it up and recommended to so many others from out of town. Let me tell you tonight gave me a change of heart. I was threatened to have the POLICE called on me for not paying for what I did not eat ANY of the FAJITAS Parrilladas and WATER. The order arrived I asked for the manager TWICE, and the 7ft giant that came to the table told me the manager was not available but he was in charge. I explained my issue as it looked like ground dog food again I ate NOTHING. He then OFFERED to get me STRIPS of meat they had to chop it that fine to COOK it COMPLETELY.. At first he tried to tell me fajitas meant only "meat". I simply pointed to the wall and asked if that is what my plate looked like. We also added shrimp to the order. Well guess what? NO SHRIMP. our waitress said they "forgot the shrimp". a few minutes later another waiter brought out these pathetic looking cocktail size shrimp that I already told them I did not want any longer as I did not want a piece meal order. I declined those as well in front of the 7ft giant. He at this point was still unapologetic. Again I ate nothing, he insisted they were going to call the POLICE and they were in route because we had to pay for the order that what we did not eat of ANYTHING from. I Told them good luck, and the other party with us paid their bill and we left. Side note it took 30 minutes with 4 other tables in the restaurant to receive our order. Worst part is my 12yr old went hungry until we got home. The included pictures with my phone sadly makes it look better then what it was. I rarely bother to write reviews. It has to be pretty stellar or AWFUL to have me waste my time. I invite the owner or the real manager to reach out. This was truly a disgrace for this once great restaurant tonight. SHAME on you!

The food was bland. The salsa wasn't that good, tasted like tomatoes. The queso was just melted cheese no flavor. The meat in my taco had no flavor. I ordered a margarita and it was the worse I ever had. Service was slow even though it wasn't busy. Our waitress was very nice. I won't be going back any time soon.
