It’s very unfortunate to leave this review however I felt it was important because my experience with this restaurant was not good. The food was not good AT ALL. There was not an ounce of Caribbean flavor and some of our rice was undercooked. The oxtail was super greasy and had a horrible aftertaste. I would normally just take the L and move on but the service matched the meal. The young lady that helped my husband was rude and impatient. I would not recommend. Customer service sucks !!. Called to asked about the menu, and bfore I could say something the lady hanged up. I called bk spoke to a guy he sounds like he didn’t wanna talk. I am Jamaican , supporting my fellow man business . If reviews continue to be like this…. And also I have purchased a lot of times, but the last few times the food SUCKS! I post a complaint that I had at Island jerk at the Deer Park location , an issue with my order. Surprisingly within an hour of my complaint the owner responded with his contact number and was able to rectify the issue, I was satisfied and I'll continue doing business with Island Jerk, Thanks.

Customer service is absolutely horrible at this restaurant, they always seem upset when talking to customers and get annoyed when asking about the menu. The food is decent, but portion size gets smaller and smaller while prices are rising.
