À propos
This bar serves Indian cuisine. Being at India Palace, try nicely cooked garlic naans, lamb vindaloo and palak paneer. Most guests recommend trying good gulab jamun, flija and ice cream. As visitors write in their reviews, marsala offered at this place is delicious. It is good to enjoy great masala chai or good coffee. This spot provides food delivery for the convenience of its clients. The patient staff shows a high level of quality at this bar. Spectacular service is something that people highlight in their comments. A lot of guests say that the dishes are offered for low prices. The lovely decor and pleasant atmosphere let clients feel relaxed here. Based on the guests' feedback on Google, India Palace deserved 4.3.

This is the 5th time I've been to this restaurant, and I've witnessed a steady decline in both service and quality of food offered. When we started going here last year the food was GREAT and the service matched it. Really good portions for the price (more protein than rice, decent size plates and sides)... You also got an *experience* like, actual times out service rather than feeling like you're an inconvenience for eating inside the restaurant rather than ordering to go (they have a nice space that you'd want to eat in so it's not like it screams "take out place"). Tonight I ordered lamb biryani which previously was a decent amount of lamb and rice (like 60/40 lamb to rice ratio) and I could eat half and have enough to eat lunch the next day... Tonight it was 5 small cubes of lamb and enough rice for me to go to Safeway and pick up chicken to cook to use the rice for sides at lunch for 5 days... An Absolutely hilarious amount of rice... Which isn't exactly what I wanted in a restaurant experience. My husband got Palak Paneer which tasted worse than the microwave packets you can get at the supermarket. We waited 10 mins for anyone to bring us a menu after we were pointed to a table, everything we ordered came out within 3 mins of each other (drinks to entrees)... They were not busy in the restaurant itself but apparently they do my mostly take out now. They should just switch to a take out model and not bother with the rent since the decline in quality I've seen will likely lead to them closing anyway. This is not necessarily a read but.... I've never tasted Indian food quite like this. I've always associated this cuisine with rich and bold flavors with a pronounced and energetic spice profile. Always robust, an aromatic taste experience. It was NONE of that. Yes, the curries were creamy and filling but borderline bland. The Garlic Pita didn't taste like garlic at all. Mango Lassi, usually a refreshing balm to Indian fare cutting the heat and spice but where's the Mango? The restaurant's interior design was more tasteful than the dishes and the noise level though... more than deadened my already under stimulated senses. Perhaps the "subtlety" in flavor is intentional (to cater to "western tastes", the elderly, children or the timid). Then, they should own it and acknowledge it upfront as " refined". If that is the case, India Palace has carved out a unique niche for itself: A place that caters to those with extremely sensitive and timid palates or (like my sister), averse to exotic spicy food. Authentic real Indian food, spiced delicately and cooked nicely. This is so good and healthy that the other reviews who don’t like it just don’t know real Indian foods. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Malai Kofta

We didn't order much, but unfortunately the butter chicken curry had very little chicken. The palak paneer was delicious, as was the naan. Nice wine menu and restaurant had a lovely ambience. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
