When I visit this IHOP in Compton. I had great expectations until I walked in. Were there seated for 30 minutes? Food came cold to the table with the hair in it. And I saw people getting served before us. And we were there before then. We were patient not calling anyone out on anything. Just asking when we were gonna be were trying to be nice about it, but seem like they didn't give a darn. I placed an order for pick up via phone on a Saturday. I ordered 3 meals. Two meals were the exact same. I was told 25 minutes before I could pick up. I arrived and was told my food was being packaged. 20 minutes later, still no food. I asked a different person about my order, and he checked and said they are cooking it now. I was confused because I was told 20 minutes earlier that it was being packed up for me. Who I assumed to be the manager came up and asked if I had been helped. I replied yes and no. I told him I placed an order over an hour ago and still had not received my food. He asked if I had paid, and I said not yet. He said he would take 20% off my meal. That was a nice gesture. I accepted, and my food came out 2 minutes after paying. It was all wrong! I always check my food wherever I go. My meals were not correct, and as I was checking, the manager was trying to over talk me. I had to interject and let him know I knew exactly what I ordered. It took another 15 minutes for the correction. The place was busy. I understand mistakes happen. But if you can't handle the foot traffic along with phone and internet orders, then hire those that can. I'm not a fan of this particular location. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
