Went for Saturday breakfast. Big mistake. Didn't need to wait long to be seated but when the host led us to a table, we realized just how packed in people were. Not the place to have a relaxed breakfast! We have 4 grown kids and none of them ever acted like any of the kids we saw. Screaming, hitting their parents, .... ugh. Food was just ok. Our breakfast at IHOP was great! The pancakes were fluffy, light, and extremely tasty. Our eggs were cooked to perfection as was our bacon and sausage. Our waitress, Nicole, provided exceptional service, refilling our drinks and asking how we were. Definitely will return. Christmas night at 6 pm and IHOP was open. I don't know what low IQ person scheduled only 1 server, but Dana was incredible. A full house and working it alone. Dana never made us feel as if we were intruding, but welcomed us warmly. Explaining being short staffed, she still managed to deliver great food and good coffee in a timely manner. All with a smile. If I owned a restaurant, I would hire her away immediately to run it. A wonderful end to a Christmas rush, all because of Dana and the other skeleton staff. They deserve bonuses, raises and praise. I have lived in this area for 20+ years. Today, I went to IHOP and was blown away with the service I received from NICOLE. She was fantastic and the food lived up to her service!! As soon as my husband and I entered the restaurant, NICOLE made us feel as though we are long missed family members that she was inviting over to enjoy a big hug. In fact, she did invite us back to IHOP for XMAS day breakfast and we are very excitedly considering it with the rest of our family. I hadn't gone to this IHOP in San dimas on Lone Hill and arrow highway in about 3 or 4 years. These two have really good customer service and waitresses. Even the manager would come up and say is everything okay and there were always on top of us to give us a refill. We recently went and the waitress didn't never checked up on us to see if we wanted anything not friendly at all. Manager never came either. Last time I'm going rhere!!
