You have to visit! The service was so amazing, they are so sweet. The atmosphere was fun with great music and robots with a kitty face that deliver food to your table! And of course the food was so tasty. We got the Vietnamese egg rolls, jalepeno wontons, drunken noodles and teriyaki bowl. All of it was so good. You can tell they care and make stuff from scratch. We were in town visiting & wanted some sushi. So glad we chose this place. The sushi was so good. The whole family had something different & everyone loved their dish. The whole staff was very friendly & our waitress Melinda was so sweet. Definitely will come back when we are in town visiting. I work nearby. I ordered for the first time today. Sweet and sour chicken, fried rice, crab Rangoon’s. Without delivery tip order was over $32. :/ Since they are a block away I expected very hot and fresh food. It was not hot. It was not fresh. In my opinion the chicken was a bit over cooked. It was dry and some pieces hard. After sucking in sauce it was palatable. I have lunch options around me for as much food or more for 1/2 the price and better quality. I tried based on recommendations. I try to support local. I’ll post $$$ for great food. I will not pay $$$ for mediocre food. You can do better. For anyone, looking for a great sushi bar/ Asian cuisine this is the place too be at!!! Great smiling staff, always fresh clean tables to be entered into. The menu, very easy to enjoy and read with plenty to choice from. Great music and a fun little robot that even delivers your food at times. Picked the Honeybee last minute after going to several other sushi joints and finding them full or closed. I didn't remember Honeybee having sushi before and remembered it as a mediocre Taiwanese Chinese food from last year. Was initially skeptical but we ordered a sushi dinner and I was proven very wrong. They have renovated and added a sushi bar with a very talented sushi chef. There are not many places to do Omakase (leave it up to the chef) nor to trust a sushi chef in Aurora. But, next time I come back I definitely need to try his Omakase. If his preparation and presentation of the lower tier plates is any indication, Felix is likely to be a very skilled sushi chef. Honeybee has stepped into the sushi arena of Denver and they have plunged headfirst right into the deep end with the big boys. I saw the ingredients and we are talking bluefin tuna, A5 wagyu and mille crepe cakes (pic) kind of stuff served at only the most exclusive restaurants. What they do with these precious ingredients remains to be seen in a future visit. FYI these types of ingredients are probably only going to get served if you Omakase or order the deluxe stuff in a proper sit down dinner. Glad I found this place. It started out small and now they have expanded to have a sushi bar. Their lunch items are delicious! Chef Felix makes amazing looking sushi rolls (see images) that are equally delicious. Mongolian chicken/beef is one of my favorites (absolutely recommend it). This place deserves more love. Kids love the robot staff that brings you your plates (but be aware usually a human staff will quickly follow to hand you your dishes the robots are just there to help carry items to the table). Awesome food as always. Often times I love the fact that I can get them fresh. My family is the one who always orders something like 80+ worth of food. If you are confused by how it does work, the entry plate with lo neon comes with rice, but it’s it’s own massive plate of food. Often we order a side appetizer but it’s supposed to be something f we order large amounts of food on and then save for left overs. Our favorites include walnut shrimp, Japanese pan fried udon, sesame seas balls, and cashew nuts dish. Also if you are lucky on a Friday there are car meets. Wow!! Beautiful remodel. The food is delicious and the staff, friendly and attentive. Love the robots and the new sushi bar!!!! Sesame tofu was wonderful and tender. Abundance of appetizers to choose from. Excellent presentation. I love to see chefs that are proud of the food they are serving!!! Thank you for a delicious dinner.
