After watching Military History Society of Rochester, have a meal at Good Luck. Try nicely cooked steak burgers, coleslaw and ribeye. Although I wouldn’t choose Good Luck (I can’t stand the name) for an intimate dinner, if you want fun and excitement, Good Luck (That name!) might be ideal. We sat at the bar on a Wednesday night, and the place was packed with happy diners. Leo was our bartender/server, and he was the consummate professional. My Mezcal Old Fashioned was mixed perfectly. Our food was delicious. I loved my chicken croquettes, and the duck dinner special was scrumptious. I gnawed on the bone. The gnocchi was light but flagrant with taste. I cannot stand leaden gnocchi. Cheesecake was unique and sublime. The bar is enormous, and the restaurant appears cavernous because of the use of mirrors. The noise also makes the room seem larger than it is. Good Luck (Please change the name) has excellent food and guarantees a good time. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This is the best restaurant in Rochester. Creative menu with incredible results. Excellent service that's laid back and friendly. It's loud there, which I have a hard time with, but I love it enough to just wear earplugs. I only regret that I didn't start going there much sooner. This place was fabulous. Every attention was given to the detail of the cocktails, the menu, and the desserts. If I had to complain I would say that the walnut pasta did not have any salt, everything else was quite amazing including a very good burger, multiple salads that we ordered, the braised fennel, The peach cocktail, the black tea cocktail, the violently citrus cocktail, and the basque cheese cake. This place was seriously incredible. From the food to the staff and atmosphere. You must must MUST have their house made malloreddus!! It was to die for. Some tips, make reservations, and make them well in advance because the only nonreservation area is the bar. The only sign disclosing the place is this small plaque at the door. Their menu remains relatively stagnant, but the dishes are so delicious. Starting from top to bottom on the menu, you go from smaller appetitizers to large entrees. They recommend ordering a few things for the table like Tappas style to get the most for the experience. Also try their cocktails, seriously. I will always come back here.
