the juice here is actually addicting i love it! the morning dew is by far my favorite. i’ve had some of the food options and they’re equally great! the açaí bowl is my favorite. it’s a bit pricey but a nice treat:)

We're so glad to have a quality food stop on our trips between MN and IL. Finding quality food on the road is challenging and this spot is heaven sent. We've loved everything we've tried off of the menu. The service is so kind and fast, and the prices are fair. :)

This place always has a line every time we make the trip to Iowa City and stop here. It is no wonder, the juice is the freshest best cold pressed juice around. We literally drive 25 miles for it. They will deliver as well if ypu get you order in by Wednesday, they deliver on Fridays. Even 30 miles away.

one of my go-to lunch spots in IC; lots of healthy options, especially for gluten free diets. given the organic, local ingredients they use, prices are decent. employees are always very friendly and patient, even when their line is out the door :)

Turkey Sandwich
I first walked into this place an innocent woman, one who thought I knew what a good smoothie was. But alas, I was mistaken. The moment a singular atom from that first sip touched my tongue, it was like my mouth burst into a nuclear explosion of wonder. I saw my future: my job, who I would marry, what my kids would grow up to do, and how I would eventually die. My depression was cured instantly, my acne cleared, my lifespan extended by 40 years. My life would never be the same again. It was an awakening. The smoothie was just thick enough to have substance, but thin enough that I didn't have to unlock the vacuum of space to drink it. I could taste every. Single. Fruit. And the yogurt. Oh, the yogurt!!!
This shop supports local businesses, which is cool. It has options other than smoothies, too. But every day I crave a smoothie from this place. I go feral. My friends all have scratches and bite marks on their arms from when they've tried to stop me from getting a smoothie. My boyfriend nearly lost his leg. My mom called me today sobbing, trying to plead me to stop. She says weird things like I'm "cutting into the family savings" and "tearing the family apart". But no one can get in between Get Fresh Café and me. No. One. And that is why you should go!

I LOVE Get Fresh!! It's my favorite place in Iowa City for lunch, smoothies/smoothie bowls, and fresh juice.
My usual order is the Spicy Vegan BLT - the housemade tempeh bacon is amazing - and the green goddess bowl (choose 3 toppings) or the green smoothie. My family also adores the freshies.
They have a great selection of fresh juices. I sometimes get these to add to our smoothies at home.
On top of the the delicious food, the owner, Wendy is wonderful. She has created a beautiful space with plants to enjoy fresh, local food.
