The food was excellent. I had a burger, fries, and a shake - they were all top tier and delicious. The only complaint is that I had onions on the burger that I didn't ask for - but aside from that, everything was excellent. Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Always really enjoy Gary's. It was such a treat for us to go as a kid. Some things just don't change though. They still have the teeny tiny eating lounge The food is awesome, I do wish they would change a few things like toasting the bread on some sandwiches. But I'm just nitpicky... This little hole in the wall has the absolute best milkshakes around! My favorite is the pineapple shake. My daughter loves the peanut butter shake. The shoelace French fries are freshly made and taste incredible. Their cheeseburgers are made to order with fresh tasty buns and a generous portion of burger. Such a great little hidden gem. One of the best burgers, and milkshakes I've had. Sherry, the owner was very pleasant and welcoming. A MUST try if you're in the mood for a burger. Visited with my family during Owensboro burger week. Fantastic little joint with a ton of food options. We had burgers, cheese curds, fries, fries pickles, and a giant cup of ice cream. Every since the pandemic I’ve been work from home, out of Henderson. One of the things that I miss is Gary’s driving over in Owensboro. I know it’s not that far, but when you work there it’s a lot easier to go there. Gary’s has one of the best burgers in Owensboro. Just be prepared you will wait a little while while they prepare your food but when it comes out it is hot! So don’t get all upset about the time it takes. We enjoyed the fried green tomatoes which were cooked perfectly and had just a Lotta flavor. Cheese sticks I mean who messes up cheese sticks. Well some people do and you know that’s true! But Gary’s did not. But the burgers! That’s where it’s at. They have inside and outside dining, and also a drive-through if that’s what you want. If you’re looking for a really good drive-in food experience, and Gary’s is the place to go.

Great food. You get what you paid for. Worth the wait. Love their chuck wagon sandwich! The meat overlaps the bun! They also have delicious shakes! I love this little place! And in my opinion, anyone who is a big fan of diners would love it too.
