This was my second time dining in… the food, the atmosphere, the service, and all is impeccable. The owners actually treat you with the utmost respect by showing great southern hospitality. They actually feel like “family”. I recommend this to be the first stop for anyone traveling to the city of Memphis! And if you want to get to know some Black American history as well and local history; just know that you’re in the right spot of town… The “Heartbeat” of Memphis; The Four Way!

Tl;dr- food and service were great; greens were meh
So delicious! The greens weren't as good as the rest of my meal, but I will definitely be back to try other sides. The fish was hot and crispy and the cornbread was soft and slightly sweet. Prices were reasonable as well as the service. Food came out quickly and I was checked on regularly during my meal.
I appreciated that the VIP wasn't overly sweetened.
Too bad they don't ship to other states. I'll miss it when I head home.

Looking for great Southern food and a family-friendly atmosphere, this is the place. I love it. Southern Fried Chicken, Southern Fried Catfish, homemade cornbread muffins, homemade mac and cheese, and much more see the Menu I attached. The gentleman who works at the greeter station is always awesome, treats everyone with a smile, and a thank you baby...lol! he is so patient even if you are new and helps you with great recommendations depending on what you like. The best VIP (Tea/Leamond) I had on a long time. Southerners, this is a must try. I'm a Southern girl born and raise, trust me, it's home cooking.
