The catfish and shrimp are excellent. The service is very slow after ordering. We were there last night, and they were not busy. It took almost a half hour for our food to come out. I ordered gumbo to go when we were almost finished eating, and it took 30 minutes for the “to go” order to arrive. We have eaten there several times and the last 3 times it has been like this. The food was okay overall . I was not blown away, but it was good.The fried shrimp and oysters were mostly batter. I like my seafood fried in cornmeal, however that’s my preference. The green beans needed more seasoning, however, I did love how they were fresh not canned. I also had their crawfish ettoufee which was pretty good. It had a little kick to it which I loved. Portions were ridiculous! Chicken tenders and fish fillets look like they were only slivers of meat. Crab Balls were inedible. Stuffed Jalapenos were ok, but still weird. The only good thing was the onion rings. It was definitely not worth the money!! All the competition has extremely better food at the same price point!!
