Grilled chicken on salad terrible. However that was nothing compared to large bug in the salad. Called and spoke to owner, got a vanilla apology without any apparent remorse. I’m embarrassed for him. We’ve been getting pizza from Express for 20+ years . No more. Owner needs a good exterminator and some customer service training. WILDWOOD ‘S WAY!

Small pizza place in north ocean city nj. Plenty of stuff on the menu and tasty too! The pizza tastes good and always made the way you like it. Theres seating to eat in and bright and airy inside so you hang out and relax for a while. No parking lot avail so its curbside only. Great pizza, love the square pizza especially. One of the top pizzas in OC. Not sure what’s going on with all the negative reviews but they seem a little sus as they are all around the same time frame. Good service , but food is not what is was . Not very good , barley average. portions seem different . Express once had distant buffalo chicken , it’s not what it was . Nor the chicken ceaser wrap. Ambiance is off . Dark inside . Wish it could change back Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Placed an order for pickup. Order given over phone, repeated by server, all good. The order was for 3 cheese steaks, 2 large cheese pizzas, one tuna wrap came to $97.00 and some change. Picked up order, got home and found tuna wrap w/provolone, lettuce, tomato was now a Turkey club? 2 plain cheese pizzas where the cheese bubbles on the top of each pizza were black/over cooked. In my book crisp is not black/overcooked! When my wife called to complain and correct the tuna wrap debacle she was told it would take 30 to 40 minutes to correct? They made the mistake they should correct it immediately! My wife walked around the block to to the restaurant to force a quick resolution while we all (10) waited for her to return. Ordered spicy roni pizza. Crust was good. Jalapenos and pepperoni were plentiful. However, cheese was very disappointing. Pizza had virtually no cheese on it. Called back to advise as to lack of cheese and spoke to Joan who apologized and said she did not look at it before it went out. Disappointed seems to be an inadequate word here.... We have been coming to OCNJ for years and years and Express is one of the things we look forward to the most. This was our first visit under the new ownership, and likely our last. Pizza was way overcooked (should have expected that, given the example photos on their new website menu). The Italian hoagie used to be my favorite on the planet....but tonight, it was meh (cheaper meat supplier?). But the absolutely worst was my wife's Buffalo Chicken Cutlet sub.... see the photo attached. No buffalo sauce - and the sub was basically a few chicken fingers stuffed into a roll with a partially melted string cheese stick. There was nothing "cutlet" about it. We had heard the food quality went down and the prices way up - our visit tonight confirmed the food quality, but I didn't feel like the prices went up too much.... certainly reasonable for a beach town. I am curious about all these 5-star reviews -- looking at the wording of their posts and posting trends, I am not so sure those are all real people. Some are, I'm sure, but others are questionable. Very Nice & cool people with fantastic service. Burgers are the BEST in the whole town, area! Very clean and they make it quick and fresh. Try cheese burger and you'll Love it. Pizzas are great too. I'm sure if I go there again I'll visit this place every day I stay in that town.
