Ive been coming here for a few years now. The tamales have always been so good, even if the staff can be a little unfriendly at times. Today the salsa verde tamale I ordered barely had any chicken on it. It's been hit or miss lately. Im not sure if I will return this time. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

Second time we have an awful experience with the older female staff, from getting attitude to being accused of stealing a toy just because my son was holding it while we were making our way to the register! Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

BEST tamales from a store, hands down. They're made with love and not overly packed with masa. By far the best I've had in Santa Cruz Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Tamales

Ordered tamales and bounce houses a few times. Never any issues. Christmas eve i noticed a voicemail from the day before I missed from them saying they needed my credit card number to refund my order for 50 tamales since i cancelled the order. Almost lost my mind since i did not cancel my order and had already paid them $200 two weeks prior for 4 dozen tamales and had 50 people coming to my house in an hour and my husband was already on the way to get the order. Had to call a couple times to get a resolution and a lot of back and forth and being told they didn’t have any order for me. Luckily they did have my food and got a cancellation mixed up with mine but i needed a blood pressure monitor after that. Service Take out Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
My first time visiting the store was probably going to be my only time. I went in to buy some Mexican sweet bread. I picked 6 pieces. Nothing fancy. I paid 14.00 I though a little pricey. Upon check-out the cashier was not very polit, and considering you're in a customer service based business, you might want be polite. I said good morning, and she didn't acknowledge my greeting. If you can't greet your customer with a great smile when they're buying your product, you're probably going to lose some of those customers. Finally after getting back home to have some sweet bread with coffee I can say it's not worth the price. Bad service and average tasting to sweet bread, & a bit pricey, well not worth going back.
