I remember this place having the BEST fajitas I ever had. I decided to pay another visit to see if it were still true. Unfortunately, the fajitas were nowhere near what they used to be. The steak was mostly fat and lacked flavor. The chicken was also flavorless and the veggies were near raw. Service was ok as usual.

I didn't really want Mexican, my CO worker picked where we ate that day. I am so glad I chose to go with the flow. Not only did a robot deliver my food, but it was spectacular! I felt very satisfied leaving here.

7-8-23 WOW, what a place. They have a little mixture of yesterday, today, and the future. Staff is very friendly and professional. The food was delicious, and there was plenty. Now for the service, food being delivered. The future is here. They have a robot that brings your dish, for the entire table, to your table. Then, the waitress serves the dishes. It was really neat. By using this robot, it allows the staff to attend to the customers and not run back and forth to the kitchen. Great job. 👍

We have been to El Porton for a few times, always wanted to order their Molcajete, finally we did this time. For two is $37, for one is $32. We did for two. Lots of food. they gave two sets of rice, beans, tortilla warp (3 pieces each, wish they would offer more). This is a dish that can possibility feed 3-4 people. When we asked for to-go boxes, they even brought two bags of chips and salsa pre-packed already for us. Love it!
They are very popular at the lunch hours (I'm sure dinner hours too), so if you want a nice table at the patio, be sure to arrive early (or late) as this section of the dinning room gets filled up quickly.

This is a spacious, family-friendly Tex-Mex restaurant. The service was fast, and we got our food fairly quickly. There were also cute robots helping the staff deliver the food to the tables as well.
The food was average Tex-Mex. There was no immediate "wow" factor, but it was good and hearty. The frozen house lime margarita was refreshing. The fajitas had a nice, charred taste. The queso dip was a bit runny (we prefer creamy, gooey, and spicy). The mole was on the sweeter side.
Most portions were reasonable-- and some were large enough to share.
3 stars for the food (average), 4 stars for the quick and filling visit.

Came in during the World Cup, seated right away and drink orders were quickly taken. We ordered the mezcal margarita, skinny margarita and lemon drop margarita. All delicious, but they were all $12 each which seems over priced for the size. The salsa was great and had some heat to it, also didn’t have cilantro which my husband loved. We weren’t given more chips, but also didn’t ask. Our food orders were taken after our drinks got to us and the food came out fast, hot and yummy. The Enchiladas Berde also did not have cilantro in it-bonus! “Ketty” helped with bringing the food out. Inside, the restaurant is clean and laid out well, not on top of each other where we can hear other conversations. Estefan was our waitress, and she was very nice and checked in on us. This was our first time coming here and will definitely return!

I would say this is an okay place for some Tex-Mex food. The Horchata taste was really good but wasn't mixed correctly so we had to keep mixing before taking a sip.
The Tortilla Soup was the best out of the food I ordered, very cheesy and flavorful.
The main entrees were just okay. Don't taste bad but don't taste particularly good either. Specifically, the meat and bean in my enchillada were cooked well and tasty, but the rice didn't have much flavor and tenderness.
The servers were very nice and the place was clean and looks okay, but the atmosphere was a little dull. The tortilla chips and salsa as appertizer was a plus!
The portion size for kid is very generous though.
Would definitely recommend their soups.

They now feature a robot delivery of food and $12.50 beers (which costs more than all combinations).
We seem to frequent this place more often than other local favorites. Nice when the staff knows what you want before you order. The robot doesnt do that. **However, when 1 drink costs more than your meal...... $12.50 for 25oz of beer is almost highway robbery.... a good way to sell more is charge less. For instance I had 1 beer for $12 vs 2 at $9ea..... 2nd increase in 60 days, as prices start back the other way. Dinner was $10.99 and was FABULOUS!
All other Mexican restaurants are realistic in their beer pricing. Please address the issue or broaden the selection.
Check out Papas and Beers (8.99) and El Pastor (8.99) and even Taco Mac (6.99++) for better beer prices.

Pretty good food. They have outdoor seating as well. Social distancing is a bit iffy. They did not have a table blocked off like some other restaurants. The servers are all pretty good thought. And the service is generally very fast. Went on a Thursday night and it was quite packed so be prepared for that...
