Very outstanding and upscale place in this beautiful town. The owner/chef think out of box on his menu. The menu is as competitive of any upscale NY restaurants. If you are visiting PR go and visit one the most beautiful town square (plaza) and make a reservation in this great restaurant. The restaurant is located in a converted colonial home. Definitely the best and most exquisite gastronomic experience. A delicious combination of flavors in a single dish that leaves you speechless. Each dish is an experience of flavors never tasted before, from the appetizer, main course and dessert. And the service is the best of the best. There is no doubt the best when we talk about a restaurant in PR. RECOMMENDED!!!

Pechuga Rellena Queso Chorizo Y Gremolata De Tomates
Made reservations for 3 people for 2:00pm on a Sunday, arrived a bit early and waited about 5 minutes to be seated. Our waiter was prompt to offer drinks and shortly afterwards, we placed our order for appetizers. The oysters were amazing and the wedge salad was really good, even though the portion was smaller than an average wedge salad (the dressing was delicious). The fried calamari was average. For entrees, we had the ribs, the octopus and the ribeye. The portion of octopus was ok, but I kept looking for a larger portion of the potatoes and pimentón. The ribs were very good and tender, but the price did not include a side dish and we paid $5.00 for a small portion of fries. The ribeye was cooked according to our request but it was lacking some seasoning. My daughter ordered a blondie for desert and she wished the portion of ice cream was larger. Overall, we waited about 1 hour for the food, then our waiter disappeared and waited about 25 minutes for the check and about 10 minutes for someone to come back so that we can pay. The temperature and the breeze was pleasant. Chef was going around and greeting only the people he knew but did not come to our table to check if everything was ok. Bathrooms were next to the kitchen, which I did not like. You should have a pasta option as well.

Excellent restaurant, you must have a reservation to be seated. I liked the atmosphere a lot, and the menu has variety in content from entrée, dish, dessert, beer, and wine 🍷. Definitely recommended. Parking area is in the street, although it has a wheelchair ♿️ parking. I didn't see a ramp for them. Employees were very friendly and aware at all times. Will be coming back it was a great experience.

Croquetas De Queso
Amazing experience! The place is not only beautiful, the ambiance and music super nice. Staff ultra friendly and fast, actually was very surprised with the amount of employees. Food is very creative and tasty. My only observation, consider revising the vegan option. The size is for an appetizer, also not adding any protein (tofu maybe?). However, we really appreciated the effort and the dish tasted really good!

Gallo Pinto is one of the best restaurants in Puerto Rico. The love that Chef Ángel puts into his dishes is evident in every bite. The staff is professional, friendly, and knowledgeable, and they create a great atmosphere. I've tried dishes that I never thought were possible, and I was blown away by the creativity and flavor. Overall, this is an excellent place to go with your family and enjoy some of the best food on the island. I highly recommend the crispy cuajitos and the bone marrow. You won't be disappointed!

Another place in my bucket list. Went without reservation but the hostess kindly find us a table in a short time( luckily we were only three people). Is an old beautiful house with high ceilings located at a corner street in the town of Guayama. Our server was amicable and explain the menu. As always start with the “Pico Rico mojitos” they are special because has a “lemon foam”on top mine was a “acerola” mojito and was very good and refreshing. The star plate was the “BBQ Salmon” with sweet potato and spinach it taste like a BBQ rib,Delicious!!. The Gallo Pinto “Fried steak” it’s a breaded skirt steak with a cream of caramelize onions and a greated cheese was good to. We order the smash potato with a “longaniza gravy” as a side dish but,on paper sounds interesting but came as a disappointment because it was tasteless (bland without flavors of longaniza at all). For desert share the “ferrero molten cake” with vainilla ice cream very good too. At the end we spend a good time and eat well but it was a little expensive dinner for three people(including tip, taxes) recommended but make reservations first.

Churrasco Country Fried Steak
Worth the drive (1-hour) from the metropolitan area via PR-52 and PR-53 toll roads! Great old house setting in the heart of Guayama. Outstanding appetizers, dishes and desserts complimented by attentive service. Friendly staff. Parking on street. We were told best day to be seated right-away without reservations is Thursday. Otherwise reservations are advised. Definitely a repeat! Highly recommended
