5/5 place! The food is amazing, Tito and Lucho are the best chef in town. The drinks were amazing as well, they have a wide variety of cocktails from different countries! 100% recommended to anyone

I can’t wait to go back and try even more off the menu. Dined at lunch with a group and tried the green fries which are a must get, empanadas, perfectly crispy, and I got a taco platter. Shrimp, pollo and pork belly- all fantastic.

Axel was the best, we went there to celebrate my sweet friend's birthday and they brought a chocolate cake for her. It was very nice and the cake was delicious.

Amazing! Fast service, fresh food, moderate prices. Very authentic and a slight language barrier but overall a great experience. The menu has fairly decent variety, although not many pork options. A hidden gem and now that I have been I see why there's so much traffic in that area. Will be returning!

Just stopped in for lunch and I was very happy with the experience. The food was excellent as was the service; and boy are the portions huge!
My wife is from Miami and we long going to Aruba and dining at Peruvian and Venezuelan restaurants. I can't wait to take her to El Callao now, I know she'll love it.

Easy 4 to 4.5 ☆. Great tasting and reasonably priced menu items. Excellent service! I highly recommend their Nikkei Burrito, Pork Pernil, Pollo Saltado and Shrimp or Fish Tacos.

My husband loves this place and talks about it often, so while I was with this afternoon, we had lunch. I should have gone soon!!! Our server was a really sweet guy who was helpful and very fun. The deco was spot on and the food....oh YES! I had Empanadas and a side of vegetables. Hubby had a Cuban sandwich with green fries...his favorite! I walked away FULL AND HAPPY! I will be enjoying experience again....soon!

Green Fries
Sat at the bar and got a couple of drinks and some lunch. We split a couple of empanadas to try the chicken and beef. I thought the beef was a little better. For lunch I had the Cuban and it was a serious sandwich. It’s enough to have leftovers or split with someone at lunch with a couple of sides. The sandwich came with a side so I tried their popular green fries. These were good. I see why people talk about them so much. Good experience overall. It’s a hike from James Island but I would try them again if I’m in the area.

We ordered chicken and beef empanadas. They had a weird smell and after taste. The Pernil dish meat was salty, black beans were bland. The green french fries dish was ok, just not worth $8.
The atmosphere was nice and the service was good.

The food and service was exceptionally good. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a smile .
There is a nice sized bar with a fair amount of TVs I feel would be good for watching game. There is also an area that I feel would be great for a family or a group. Restroom was clean. Tables wiped as soon as people got up.
The waiter was very friendly and put me at ease with trying something new. I haven’t been to a Latin restaurant in years so I didn’t know what to order. He suggested multiple options that he had already tried and liked.
My first instinct was to substitute items. He convinced me to try things as they are. I am so glad I listened to him. The food was amazingly good.
From what I understand this is a Peruvian restaurant. My first time eating Peruvian food. What a great addition to the Charleston area.
I ordered a dish called Lomo Salgado - sautéed beef, red onions, tomatoes, fries, 2 plantains, rice, beans and covered with a very tasty sauce.
I will be going back. I am bringing my friends. and
will get the right exact same thing again. Right off of Dorchester Road, near Highway 26 in the same plaza as Planet Fitness, and other nice restaurants. This place is fairly new. Try it!
