I visited this brewery in early of 2022 and then made it back now, and they have done a significant amount of changes, all for the better! Great selection,  big open space, games, fire pits, local food truck, and sketchy dart board placement. They have a good selection of beer and it is good beer. I definitely recommend a visit!
Very cool space. Good to hang with friends after work or during the weekend, dog-friendly and kid-friendly which helps so much. Plus they always have great food truck options!
Let me say right off, I think this place is a gem. It was our 95th brewery to visit and I would definitely put it in the top ten percent. Now I know nothing about the owners of this brewery, whether it's single proprietorship, LLC, or some investment group, but obviously some serious capital has been put into the facility itself but with the charm of a small, independently run nano brewery. Located in the heart of downtown Cartersville, which, while no longer exactly "small", still retains much of that small town feel that it had 40 years when I lived not too distantly and made occasional forays to it. The beer tenders were personable, welcoming, and more than ready to extol the virtues of the beers on tap. We had our typical two flights and were able to sample most of the brews available. While only three years old, Drowned Valley maintains an impressive array of offerings; and it's not just the quantity that is impressive but the quality as well. From their Cartersville Light Czech style lager to their Mozilla DIPA (double IPA), I found their brews consistently delicious and good representations of their style. If you live in the area or are just passing through, make it a point to stop in and enjoy a brew or two (or three). You won't regret it!
A spacious brewery offering both indoor and outdoor seating. Tried their Octoberfest and loved it along with several IPA's. The staff was super friendly and we enjoyed spending the day here watching football and relaxing.

I moved out of town before this place opened, but I still return on a regular basis for work and visits to the extended family. I finally had an opportunity during one of those visits to check it out, and I'm glad I did (but disappointed this wasn't here when I was a local). I showed up before the evening crowd arrived so I had the place to myself for a little while. Enjoyed the conversation with my bartender, along with the opportunity to discuss the various brews on tap. Everything I tried was good, and I especially liked the hazy IPA featured that day. Nice atmosphere, pleasant staff, dog-friendly, available games, good beer, and convenient location. I like it.

First visit, we really enjoyed Drowned Valley. Nice selection of beverages. Too many that sounded good so we went with a couple flights. Everything we tried tasted great. Family friendly atmosphere, food truck was there the afternoon we visited. Fast and friendly staff, definitely worth another visit!

I’ve been here four times (that number will increase) and always enjoyed myself. Beer selection is excellent and diverse for a place 40 miles north of Atlanta. The seltzer is even good not just a standard seltzer with that artificial flavoring taste. It’s a good place for solo travelers, groups or a family. I’ve never tried the food trucks but they’re always varied and offer great options. There’s also plenty of outside food within a short walking distance. This place fits Cartersville perfectly.

I can't say enough great things about Drowned Valley!! So many fantastic beers it's hard to pick a favorite. We were lucky enough to be here the day after their Oktoberfest was released and it was perfect!! The staff was so friendly, the atmosphere is great and a food truck is on site. Bonus: They have a Dunkelweizen that's to die for...can't wait to go back!!

Excellent selection with quite variety on tap! Great location in downtown Cartersville! This is a fabulous location to meet up with friends and have a cold one on a warm spring day. Games, sports, and an on-site food truck to round out the beer selection.
Drowned Valley has been a wonderful addition to Cartersville and our family. The atmosphere is ALWAYS family and dog friendly. Being a big foodie family, Drowned Valley has upped their game every year when it comes to food trucks. They find a wonderful variety of flavorful foods. Starting out with only a handful of beers, their menu has grown exponentially. Any level of beer or seltzer drinker can easily find their seasonal favorite. Last, but not least is the staff. There has never been a time where we have come in that they have not welcomed us by name. They create a warm and welcoming environment that adds to the hometown charm of Cartersville. If you have not had the chance to stop in, you are missing out on an amazing experience.
