The food was really good.. I can’t say the same about the service. They really need to think about firing the waitress Alley.. My total was $20 and I gave her $50 and I asked for change back.. she kept the extra $30 and had me leave. She then grabbed me by my hair and slammed my head against the table because I didn’t finish my pork tenderloin. Like I said food was great, and the other servers and owners were super nice.. alley is just the worst. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20

So the food was pretty subpar, but the atmosphere of the place was what bothered me more than anything else. The paint cans and overall messiness made this feel like a rushed endeavor and I really can't imagine this place really had any kind of health inspection before they launched. More than anything the bias here is what leaves a worse taste in my mouth than anything. I could imagine people enjoying the food here, but the fact that going on here led me to multiple 5 star reviews from the exact lady who served me is a really, really bad look. While my complaints about the quality are about what you would expect from a newer restaurant in a small town in Illinois, the weird vibes surrounding everything, even this review page, is what leads me to say that I would not really recommend anybody to stop by.

Super unfortunate that I can’t give 0 stars because that’s what they deserve. HORRIBLE customer service. This woman named Alley? I think it was… told someone to kill themselves MULTIPLE times. Absolutely DISGUSTING. Hopefully it gets shut down because people like that do not deserve to own a business at all.

I was so excited to try this restaurant, but much to my and my three kids’ dismay, the service was unprofessional! Plus, the food is subpar. I will not be coming back.
