The family owned restaurant is a definite go to location. Antonio is a wonderful host, and ensures that ever meal is perfect... So Mexican right, but it's not just tacos and chips it's real good food with friendly people happy to help and serve. The drinks 🍷 are great, love the Red Sangria! The restaurant is beautiful decorated and reminds you of Mexico as soon as you walk in, colorful, fun and welcoming. My only issue was the place smelled like bleach. The food was delicious and the drinks were nice and refreshing. Plates are shareable since it is a lot of food. I love coming to Don Jose. The place is beautiful and the people who work there are so pleasant. My only draw back on food is that all the salsa has to many spices. My visit today was great except the pico de gallop I received was overrun with spice and as someone with a mild allergy to hot spices, I couldn't enjoy it. Very Good Mexican food big selection of Tequila. David the bartender is very friendly and strong knowledge of Drinks I don't Recommend. Have Dinner in the Bar very poor service. Cool cantina! We were shopping nearby and in looking for Mexican found Don Jose with great reviews. We had dinner on a Friday night. Although the parking lot was pretty full, we were seated right away. There was a mariachi band walking through restaurant taking requests and performing. This just added another authentic layer to the decor and ambiance. Service was really good. Everyone was very friendly. The table was kept clear of dishes, and food came out fairly quickly. We had enchiladas suiza and shrimp fajitas. The shrimp were seasoned perfectly, and they were huge! We finished off with fried ice cream and espresso truffle. There is a bar, so no byob. I was in the mood for Mexican food and ordered from this location. I ordered the salmon fajitas because I never had salmon fajita style. When I arrived I parked in their lot and walked into the restaurant. I told the man my name and paid. I grabbed the food and left. When I dug in the fajita was good and filling. The chips they threw in the bag was good as well. I had a good experience.

Nice Mexican place with colorful decor. As it goes we were served the chips and salsa as soon as we were seated and the salsa was really nice. We ordered the ultimate margaritas and wow they were huge but it was good. I had the blackened salmon salad, it was nice portion size and salmon was cooked very nicely. Everyone enjoyed their meals as we had also ordered the chicken fajitas and the vegetable fajitas. We had a fun time here. Definitely would recommend!
