Went on Saturday 03-02-2024 got seated right across from the kitchen placed our order at 10:24am got drinks quickly and even was given some I guess complimentary fruit in a cup by the waiter but 11:45am comes around after watching at least 20 or more plates go off the line to the other side of the place I got up told him we were ready to leave to which he then responded with well your ticket is the next one up and it says its gonna be another 35 minutes but if you want to leave that's up to you after already waiting an hour I told him no we were good and we left i did offer to pay for the drinks and he told me not to worry about it but it's kinda sad that when your competition (Huddle House) grill goes down you aren't ready to handle the sudden increase in business or have the foresight to tell your customers hey since the place down the street is not up and running at the moment your wait will be way longer than usual but hey that's just how I would do it if I ran a business so long story long we hopefully wont have to come back here for food and hopefully they improve soon . This Denny’s was 🔥. The food was incredible and the service was divine. Dena I believe was her name, was my server both days and she was so personable and a fantastic upseller!!!! I really enjoyed my two meals here. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Service was rushed, I needed more time to order and the waiter did not come back for my order until he brought my family's food out. Needless to say I didn't order. Then my husband found a long hair between his stack of pancakes. My daughter's food was cold and my son's steak was smaller than a chicken patty. During the entire process, another waitress was off clock and eating with a male companion and conversating with another waitress on clock. The waitress on clock was continually harassing, and bullying our waiter. It was just gross. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

I used to work for a Denny's in Salem, VA. In comparison the door was under par. It wasn't disaterous, but it wasn't to rave about either. The biggest issue was the service, though friendly, the server wasn't thoughtful in her duties. We had two toddlers. The plate their food was on was extremely hot to the touch. 1st took 20 mins to take our order. Me coke him coffee... she comes out with 2 coffees. I ordered the single chicken.fried steak sub the veggie medley for garden salad. My boyfriend got the grandslamwitch straight how it comes. When we get our food she hands him a side of seasoned fries and mine still has the veggie medley and is the dinner (2 steaks not 1) we mention this to the waitres and she says she will take care of it. She never did my 9.29 meal stayed 14.49 and she charged for a side of fries that were not ordered and a salad that should have been an upcharged side. So about $15 more than we intended to pay. And the food wasn't even warm when it was served we were so disappointed we didn't finish eating and left. Not to mention the waitress inappropriately flirting with my boyfriend the entire time.
