We go to Arcadia location (with the windmill) which is great. Always busy but good service. This is the 2nd chance we've given this Monrovia location and don't think there'll be a 3rd. Not sure why they were short staffed - only 1 server for the entire place. There were very few customers, but still. Awful service. Same food options as other location, just not prepared as well. Food took forever to come. My salmon was overcooked and bread was served burnt. Waited so long to see the server to ask for our check. For Years literal YEARS I’ll go clubbing with my friends and we’ll drive all the way from Pomona to this Dennys here in Duarte because the ones in Azusa and any other one on the way has either had bad food or poor service or anything else and this one specifically always over delivers at this specific location at late nights no matter what day of the week , day in day out , week after week , month after month. Extra thank you to Claudia our waitress for always here to serve with a smile , respect and patience for everyone including staff and patrons. Was seated in the back room with a server that had 6 tables of customers. No other staff helping to make sure customers needs were met. Average breakfast, cinnamon pancakes are getting smaller, but eggs and potatoes are good. Had to go to the front to ask for water and coffee refills which we never got. Food was good and service was great. The server Diana was fast and friendly, always was with a smile on her face. I regularly go there and ask for her. Manager José was on top checking that everybody was felling welcome. A wonderful experience every time I go with my family.
