Coffee tasted burnt…low quality cheap beans used probably. Croissant we ordered was burned on the bottom (bark drown / black). Tropical smoothie was nasty…95% banana purée and not much else. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Note that they are inside the Eddie World convenience store/jerky store/candy store thing. Awesome breakfast. One of the most lovingly prepared Belgian waffles I have had in a long time. Reasonably priced and served by people who clearly cared about what they were doing. So glad I came here instead of heading for the weird medieval Denny's across the parking lot (or worse, eating the same thing made with disdain for $25 in the park). Visiting Death Valley from Hong Kong and this was the only place open on Christmas Day around that we could see. It’s really unassuming (as it’s sort of in the middle of a gas station) but the food is made fresh and is super delicious! Loved the omelettes and crepes especially. The staff is also super warm and friendly - I asked for several perhaps rather obnoxious substitutions in my orders and they were able to make them. Absolutely lovely.
