Great food. The Jamaican chicken was banging with a perfect bite and flavor. Fries came crispy and covered with roasted thin chili peppers! The peppers added a distinct heat to the fries that complemented the three fry sauces offered incredibly. This place also serves very tall refreshing glasses of Paulaner. Service was good. It was very expensive, the portions were actually quite small for what you get and the food in general is not special at all. They sell it as spanish food but to be honest it wasn't at all (I'm spanish). Way too much garlic in everything, including the whole skin. It's just not worth it. Went for drinks. Old brown café atmosphere. Very hard to pay: you need to go to the counter, then pray for someone to even look at you, then get their attention, then wait for them to find where you were sitting.

We’ve had a great dinner there, however had to wait for it maybe too long... All was fresh and juicy - had delicious fish and lobster. Their fish soup was an exciting journey, which you will remember forever- I promise. Do not miss their Argentinian sauce... awesome, excellent with fish dishes! The service was polite and did their best, but the main blessing is the fact that this place is totally dog friendly! 🐕🐕🐕

The boterlap is named after the cloth (lap) buyers would bring to the butter (boter) market to transport their butter in. It's come a long way since. It's a great location and service has been made first priority. Orders are entered on a mobile device and then brought by other staff making it very quick to get served. Although we went for beers this time, the food has been tried and approved. Although it looks like a pub primarily, food is definitely restaurant quality. Good choice if you want a relaxed atmosphere and good food.
