Great food at reasonable prices! 🤠 The staff is friendly too! 🙂 3/2/24 - During our visit one could tell that things were a bit disorganized and dysfunctional. Which is a direct reflection on the management, and not the staff as a whole. The food was served in a timely manner, and was very good! The portions were a good size. Our server, Indiria, made our visit a really pleasant experience. 😊 We also noticed that she was doing that for all her guests!! 😀 She brought peace and joy with each interaction. Stopped in for the fish fry. It was really good. The biscuits and cornbread were hot and fresh. We had an excellent waiter. His name was Jordan. I would absolutely suggest asking for him if you go in Amazing service, seems to truly care about his job and the company he’s representing. His timing was great. His attitude was great. He is patient. He knows the menu and understands what the customers are asking for. He was right on top of everything. It wasn’t just our table that he handled well, it was all of his tables. Too bad he can’t be cloned to Hostess as well. We want it to be seated by the fireplace at the empty table, but we were told we had to sit where the person hosting assigned us-right where the bright windows were shining in our faces. Thankfully, a set of customers seated near the window, lowered the blinds for us and that helped. The pancakes had a burnt flavor and smell to them unfortunately. Does the kitchen have the grill turned up to high or are they understaffed? The shop was clean and they had some items on sale, but the line was very long and and there was no one helping the cashier clear it. Our waiter made up for every unpleasant part of our visit. We would return simply based on him. I doubled my 20% tip. I wish I could’ve left it in cash. We ordered a catered Christmas dinner for our Dad who was just moved to a retirement facility during the holidays and health not doing to great. This meal helped save Christmas! Stopped in here for a breakfast dinner on the way back home. My husband ordered the Biscuit Benny, which he enjoyed, and I had the Biscuits and Gravy. The biscuits for both were soft and fluffy with a crisp and buttery outside. I asked for honey to go with mine, which made them even more delicious. The gravy, although good, was simply made, which I assume is because you can also add sausage or bacon to your order. Cracker Barrel is a classic spot we tend to stop for while traveling. We love the home cooked flavor and all-day breakfast option (obviously) and old-fashioned decor. The front store is always great to wander around in, with lots of interesting and fun finds. Have you ever had French toast and fried chicken? I did for the first time, and it's delicious. The chicken is crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. The French toast could've been a bit more crunchy on the edges. They serve country homestyle meals. There's a gift store that you have to go through in order to get in and out of the restaurant. I feel the servers need a bit more enthusiasm. Something is lacking in the handful of service I've gotten here. They start ok and then abandon ship. Don't even come to check up on how things are going, seem uninterested, etc. It's too bad because so far food has been good. Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

My family and I have the worst experience. To start with Hair in my food and I give to the waitress and no manager presented to are table. Over charges for food that we didn’t order and eat, the waitress customer service was the worst.The food was cool and are plates was missing food part of there menus plates. My family and I go to the restaurant all the time and we love it . Today that love end. I understand that we all have bad days but when you have bad days you make the best of them . If the manager take responsibility of the restaurant will be a different store in this review. Telling everyone how the restaurant take responsibility and face all the facts that was happening in the moment. I’m so disappointed. Arriving late and leaving early is my trademark Cracker Barrel move. They tolerate overnight parking in their parking lots by RVers and this is the best spot in southeast Wisconsin for it. Level parking, undisturbed, some noise from the highway. Sorry I didn't get breakfast, Cracker Barrel. If y'all would open at 6:00 am, I would. Maybe next time! Atmosphere: 5

This was the first time I have visited this restaurant in 20 years! I absolutely love the atmosphere and the decor that they have! If you enjoy old style decor that's a place to go! And they definitely have good food and they have a great price! For the two of us our last visit was $33 and some odd cents. That was for a sirloin steak with green beans and corn and my girlfriend had four piece chicken with dumplings and hash browns and a strawberry lemonade and three bottles of soda!
