My sister in law wanted to go here for her birthday dinner. We called an hour ahead and made reservations for our group of 13. We arrived in time for our reservation and had to stand for another 1.5 hours while being told the entire time they were just waiting to clear our table. We tried to be patient, but it was getting worse by the moment. There was a table large enough to seat us the entire time, but they wouldn’t seat us there (the section was not closed). When they finally seated us they put us in the side section of the restaurant, with a group of 40! 40 kids and adults (adults were drinking heavily and the kids were running around the heathens). The volume in that room had our ears ringing. My father in law took out his hearing aids… The assistant manager was supposed to be helping our table, except she was more concerned with her smoke break, and when she came back 35 minutes later she reeked of cigarettes and perfume. She had a real chip on her shoulder and couldn’t understand why our table was getting frustrated. Had it not been my sister in laws birthday, we absolutely would have left, most of us wanted to. It took nearly an hour from the time we ordered to receive all of our food. The waiter who ended up taking care of our table was great, but that assistant general manager should be ashamed of herself. Our waiter was stuck taking care of 53 people, and doing his best. The support staff couldn’t be bothered when you tried to ask a question, and literally walked away mid question when my husband tried to ask for balsamic vinegar. Our waiter profusely apologized. The assistant manager literally blamed the other group of people for why we couldn’t have decent service or food. Once we got the food, that was good, the kitchen staff knows how to cook. But I will say no food is worth that experience. I hope that owner has the chance to read this, because if I was employing these people, they’d be looking for another job. We were treated like garbage from the start. Don’t waste your time going here. Placed an order to go. I didn’t know I ordered beef jerky? Ordered three steak salads for the family and got charred steak! The last few times we’ve eaten there we’ve been disappointed with the food. There is not much in Yakima. Stayed here for a clinical rotation on several occasions and struggled to find really good food. I came across this gem when my preceptor took some of us out here last month. I was really impressed with the food. So much so that today “a month later” I had to come back and get the steak salad. Seriously good. The chimichurri sauce they use is phenomenal. Steak was perfectly cooked. Service was fast and our meal came out pretty quick. Great staff. Oct 11, 2023: this place was recommended. There was a lot of hype for this place. It was really busy. I sat at the bar, they were helpful and friendly. I had the tandoori wings and a burger. The wings had a lot of breading on them, wasn't a fan and I didn't finish them. The burger was good, I asked for extra bacon, it's not strips of bacon, they just put extra pieces of chopped bacon on. Could have had more. The arugula they put on the burger was as thick as the patty (see photo). Also note that there isn't much signage on the place, only on the side street, not facing the main road. This place has been a consistent pleasure, the staff is attentive (even on busy nights) and the food and drinks are always on point. We’ve eaten here a few times now when we come to town, it’s become my wife’s favorite place to eat in Yakima. Located in down town Yakima it’s easy to get to and it’s a fun up beat atmosphere. The staff have always been super friendly and do an awesome job taking care of you. Food comes out in a timely manner and good size portions. In the past I’ve ordered the burger, wings, and a few other dishes and they’ve all been great. My wife usually does the Thai salad and she loves it. This time I did the steak salad and it was great. If your looking for an up beat place, a date spot, or are just in town and looking for a good lunch or dinner spot, I would recommend coming here. The food is great, I’m not a big drinker but the dinks look awesome and they have a good size drink menu. I fell in love with the Steak Frites when I saw the pictures. I had high expectations, because it looked so good, but when I got the dish, I didn't like the fries, I would I prefer the regular ones.
