My boyfriend and our toddler ate here today, after asking how their outing was he tells me that it took a while for them to come to the table and give them drinks and chips/dip. He also said that when a couple came in after them, they had gotten chips/dip and drinks very quickly along with refills and orders taken quickly. My boyfriend and toddler only got a thumbs up “are you okay” from the waiters!! He also had to stop the waiters to put in their order!! Like what the hell?! My boyfriend doesn’t complain, but why would y’all treat them like that? The service needs to get better FAST! You guys need to care for ALL of your customers. Even after all of that, he got charged extra for his margarita after having TERRIBLE service. Do BETTER Service Dine in Service: 1

I hate to leave a bad review because the food is actually pretty decent. HOWEVER, a few weeks ago I placed an order. I paid for my order and enjoyed my meal at home. A few days later my card was updated to reflect almost $10 increase. I did not tip because it was a to go order. I figured it was a mistake so I returned to the store to resolve the issue. I spoke with Marlon who took my information to pass to manager and promised to get back to me the next day. No phone call or text. I reached out on two separate occasions and got a run around answer. While I didn't have the opportunity to dine at Chimis Fresh Mix, I wanted to share my experience with their service. I was allowed to use their restroom, and I must say, it left a positive impression. The waitress at the front was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Her warm demeanor made me feel comfortable right away. The restroom itself was clean and well-maintained. It's always refreshing to find a clean facility when you're out and about. It speaks to the attention to detail and cleanliness standards of the establishment. Although I didn't have a meal at Chimis Fresh Mix on this visit, the friendliness of their staff and the cleanliness of their restroom are enough to leave a positive impression. I'll certainly consider giving their food a try in the future based on this experience.

Their lunch menu is great. I ordered the #7 lunch combination which came with three enchiladas, a corn cake, and rice and beans. It was very flavorful and satisfying! Their salsa is amazing as well, and may be the best salsa I've had at any Mexican restaurant so far. The interior is quite large, and the walls have cool pictures all around for each booth. I try so hard not to get into franchise restaurants but they are everywhere and they are getting better. The competition is heating up. They changed their menus here, and they charge just a tad bit more than they use to, especially now where you use to get all the flour soft taco shells you wanted with you fajita well now, you pay $1.50 for an extra 3 of those, and a few other little things that were free, now they charge you for. However, nonetheless, the food is still good and you will still have a great time eating here. The service is good as well, I can't complain. I love everything they serve just about and they have the best nacho chips and salsa to me than any of the Mexican restaurants in Granite City, IL and a few places here in St. Louis are beat as well. The food servings are still a nice size. The only thing that has changed again, is the prices. The restaurant is kept clean and have friendly staff. they have a shared parking lot with ample parking spaces, so you never have to worry there. The drinks are decent and you can get a monster margarita here that will serve 4 people or if you are like me, I can drink the whole thing if we take our time. I am sure if you have a large party they will take a reservation to accommodate your party. When you have all of this going on, good food, good drink, good atmosphere it is hard to not be a good restaurant.
