I think this may be my first 5 star. If not, it’s been awhile that I have had great food with great service. Lizbeth was very attentive. Bringing refills without question and asking all the right questions to make everything perfect. We will definitely be coming back. I ordered the kalifornia burrito and it was AMAZING! The food was really good, but this place misses the mark in a few areas: -Overpriced. $5/taco is a lot. The taco truck down the street is $3 per taco and similar quality. Chips and salsa cost $2 where most Mexican restaurants include this for free. -Too upscale. I don't correlate Mexican food with fine dining and thought the black tie service was actually a bit uncomfortable. I would prefer a more casual atmosphere. -Lack of special diet options. I saw the online menu had a vegetarian section. I would prefer if the dine in menu also had this as well as gluten free and dairy free options marked. If I come here again I will probably order take out so I don't have to tip on the already overpriced food. After tip I paid $19 for a 3 taco entree and water. My husband and I come here at least 2 times a month. The service is better then anywhere else in Loveland. The food is always amazing! We tried something new tonight and is now our new favorite! The margaritas are tasty as well! The staff is so friendly and inviting and the restaurant is always immaculately clean. We travel a lot and have never come across a Mexican restaurant as good as Casa Real!! Would give 100 stars if I could! We always pass by this place and we finally stopped by, which we are so happy we did! When we first go there the hostess gave us a very comfortable booth since we had a stroller. Then the server came right away to start us off with drinks. They have these amazing margarita flightthat comes with 4 small different types of amazing flavored margaritas for like $19, totally recommend! Then we got the ceviche tostadas, and they were super juicy and delicious 😋. For my entree I got the birria tacos and they did not disappoint, they were so fresh and cheesy plus the dipping sauce was very good. My husband got the enchiladas, and they were covered in sauce with a lot of cheese, with an incredible flavor! Lastly, we had flan as dessert, and this place has one of the best flans I've had in Colorado! It was super fluffy and cheesy! Also super grateful the bathroom had a baby folding table too! The waiter did an incredible job! Total bill with tip came out around $75 for all of this. Definitely will be bringing back more of my family members here! We really love Casa Real so this is a specific review for take away. I called in an order for guacamole and salsa and was shocked that my order total was almost $27.00. We paid it because it was for Mother’s Day but, that is a big price for salsa, guacamole and the smallest bag of chips possible. I asked for an extra bag of chips and they were kind enough to give it to me but did tell me they weren’t supposed to because the guacamole doesn’t come with chips… Over all, I just think it was way over priced for what we received. A slightly upscale yet authentic Mexican dining experience. Service was attentive and friendly. Food was very good but not excellent and prices are a dollar or two higher than you might expect. Chips and salsa were $2. The restaurant is on the small side but we got a table upon arrival at 6:30pm on a Friday evening. We had a delightful dinner on a Friday night. We waited about 20 minutes for a table. The service was so quick we barely had time to enjoy our queso dip. Then my friend had a fajita salad and I had the steak quesadilla. Delicious! We were checked on so frequently! Our server was great!
