One of our neighborhood neighbors had recommended Casa Garcia’s, so we decided to try it out one day while we were in New Braunfels. Casa Garcia’s was great! The chips and salsa were very good. I got the Beef Enchiladas lunch plate and my wife got a senior plate with a shredded chicken taco. Everything was soooo good and tasty! If you’re in the area and want a good place to eat lunch, stop by Casa Garcia’s, you won’t be disappointed. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Yesterday, I had the privilege of dining at Casa Garcia and was warmly greeted by Mr. Jose. I must say that Mr. Jose is an excellent host, in my opinion. My server, Mario, was extremely friendly and attentive, ensuring that I had everything I needed for my lunch. I genuinely enjoyed my experience at Casa Garcia's and will definitely return to see both Mr. Jose and Mario. It is worth mentioning that they also have a live band performance on Thursdays. Thank you for the best experience. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Chips and Salsa

Think Twice Before Visiting I recently went here with my family, and unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory. To start, they claimed to be out of queso, which was a letdown. As if that wasn't enough, the kitchen suddenly announced closure due to being too busy. Despite having kids and inquiring about ordering, we were assured it would be fine to stay. Our optimism faded when our food arrived. It was evident that two plates had been reheated, as the guacamole had an unappetizing black layer on top. To add insult to injury, my husband's dish arrived 10 minutes later, and it was disappointingly cold. What baffled us even more was the full charge on our bill, despite three of us being unable to enjoy our meals. The staff's response, suggesting we call corporate, was not only unhelpful but also seemed dismissive. Throughout our visit, we observed several plates being sent back to the kitchen, indicating we weren't the only ones dissatisfied. It's disheartening to witness such a lack of attention to customer satisfaction. If you're considering dining here, think twice, and be prepared for potential disappointments. Great food, great prices, AMAZING wait staff. Went back three times over the course of ten days. Great places to go for breakfast (which is the meal we ate on every occasion). Will return again next time we're in town. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
So sad how a restaurant you use to rave about just is not the same now. Casa Garcia's was my go to restaurant. Unfortunately, after this morning's visit my memory of how good the food was is just that, memories. Breakfast tacos are thin. Hardly an egg or meat inside. Menudo, while still not bad, was not as flavored with chili. Then there is the poor service. Even though Alejandra was very friendly when she was present but she ghosted us after she took our order. We had to flag down another waitress for what we needed. Additionally, I wanted to take some tacos to go. (I doubled the number of tacos I needed so two could be combined into one good taco.) It took several attempts to get our waitress' attention to place my to-go-order. SMH! Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4
CHECK PRICES ON THE MENU AND PRICES ON UR RECEPT WHEN U READY TO PAY. MENU PRICES ARE NOT ACCURATE AND THEY DONT HONOR THEM. Editing my review on (12/21/22) because of restaurant experience. Good service. Good food. Fast service. Clean inside and outside. Coffee is good. Tortillas are great. Soft and warm and fresh. Great tortillas. Prices are good. The only thing I didn't like was the salsas. They are good. But to my standards are generic salsas. Nothing that will make u enjoy your taco better. It's a very popular place, so there are many tables crammed in the indoor dining area. One can get bumped frequently, but thankfully no spills on our shoulders! We started with Queso Flammeado, which is melted cheese mixed with chorizo and bell pepper slices. You have to eat this right away when served, or else you end up having to cut it up with a fork when it cools. For my entre, I had the Pozole, which was served fresh radish slices, chopped cabbage, lime wedges, and chopped jalapeño. The order comes with tostada chips, but they accommodated this fool by swapping it for two, warm, corn tortillas. It had plenty of hominy and pork. I washed it down with their handsqueezed, lightly tart, Mexican Lemonade My SO ordered a shredded chicken chimichanga, that is served with queso on top, and guacamole and rice on the side. He seemed to enjoy it, but it didn't look to have much seasoning. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
Cute place to check out if you’re in the area. The inside had a slight weird smell so we sat outside and it was super hot! The food itself was good but on the higher price compared to other Tex mex places. We were there for happy hour and they had a big menu but it was only for drinks - I like happy hour food specials! Service was OK and the environment was cool with a small playground for kids. The Diablo shrimp is super spicy!! The stuffed avocado wasn’t very flavorful
