We are new to the area. So we were pleasantly surprised to find this cozy cabin-like lodge just up Rochester Road in Troy. Several fireplaces and overlooks the golf course where I have seen golfers every time the weather has warmed this winter. Great food choices, recommend the french onion soup and the perch salad. We will return. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
New owner. New chef. Same menu. NOT the same quality of food. We ordered the crab bisque and mussels. The bisque was a room temp, blended and congealed liquid that tasted like it had been re-warmed after sitting on the stove for too long. No taste of crab. Not creamy. After agreeing with my assessment, the waitress brought out clam chowder that was hot and pretty good. She then explained that taste was a matter of opinion. And while I didn't like it, someone else might. What? Someone might like yesterday's soup that sat on the burner too long and then was thinned out, removing the taste? The mussels were also room temperature, some with a metallic taste and others about average. We are so sad to lose our " go to " restaurant. The new head chef is “next level”. I have dietary restrictions which are usually met with disregard so I was surprised when the head chef, Drew, paid a visit to my table. He wanted to assure me that he was well aware of my requests and explained how everything would be prepared to meet my requirements. He actually exceeded my expectations and made me feel like a VIP guest. I had the Michigan cherry and walnut salmon with roasted red potatoes and a side salad of seasoned fresh tomatoes in olive oil. It was one of the specials but I hope they add it to the regular menu because it was incredible. I’ve enjoyed the occasional visit to Camp Ti, mostly during the summer to dine outside along the golf course, but Camp Ti just went to the top of my restaurant list. I truly got the feeling that the new head chef really cares about his diners. I highly recommend giving Camp Ti a try if you’ve never been or haven’t been in a while. They still have the same menu and the classic fresh baked chocolate chip cookies but I have a feeling Drew will add some new dishes that won’t disappoint. We came here around New years and it was pretty festive, felt like a warm Christmas cabin. The hostess had a stone cold poker face but our waiter was much more friendly. The food itself was pretty good, I got the fried chicken while my parents got steaks. My wife said her chicken was a little dry in her salad and my corn tasted like it was frozen. However, the clam chowder was delicious and the steaks were just fine. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Fried Chicken

Four of us loved our meals! We hadn't seen each other for a while and stayed a little longer than normal. The waitress was constantly attentive and didn't seem to mind us being there after the meal. Great experience. (And we made sure she had a generous tip, which she appreciated.) Service Dine in Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
