Easily the worst dining experience I've had in over 5 years. They tried to cancel us from the wait list after their system never told us the table was ready. We waited 10 minutes at the table with no one taking our drink order before my wife checked with the hostess to see if someone was assigned to our table. They said they'd find the guy. 5 minutes later, the guy only realized we existed when my wife grabbed his arm while he was walking past us again. We waited for our food and kept getting told it was stuck in the kitchen while multiple other tables were getting served. After asking / complaining several times, they bring old, cold food that has been drying under a heat lamp for half an hour, and they still forgot my youngest son's food. My oldest ate half of my food because his was dry to the point of being inedible. The manager finally comes over and promises to replace the Mac and cheese (never comes) and says she'll get us drink refills (never comes), and for our trouble she comps the kids meals and the appetizer... not the whole meal, as she really should have at that point. An okay meal at best. Place has lots of memorabilia throughout and you have to keep switching the sign to get service or not. Took a while to get service in beginning but once ball got rolling I was attended to. Shrimp poboy was 75 percent bread, shrimp was decent. Fries were okay as well. Overall an okay meal. The server was pleasant. The food was very cold. I asked to warm it up and they replaced my cold broccoli with new hot ones. Placed the cold salmon and semi warm rice back on the plate. Steak plate came out cold. Food was all room temperature or cold. The wait was around 45 minutes. Stuffed shrimp plate does not come like picture, so ask if you order pictures. Not what I expected. It was a holiday weekend so the wait list was long (1.5 hrs). I’ve seen this themed restaurant in so many places in the US and the Cancun airport and I’ve always wanted to try it. The gumbo was excellent and the other fish, shrimp and chips were good. Coleslaw was nothing to write home about. Luckily we got to see the fireworks from the restaurant so that was a nice surprise. One of the best fried Sea Food restaurant on the walk is Bubba Gump. We for sure enjoyed every bite of our ordered food. The Fried Shrimp 🍤 is beyond the point of a plate I had to order one more plate before I could start walking. Their soups are worth having it too. Over all had a great experience and will recommend and return for sure.
