The brisket was some of the best I've had. If you want an "off the beaten path" local joint feel, this place is nice. They were clearly caught off guard by having several families arrive at once, causing quite a wait. The food was totally worth the wait. I'm not big on eating in a bar, and that is kinda the feel of this place, but I had a nice conversation over a really good meal. If I remember right, the price was also very reasonable. Not bad place. I had the seafood basket. Clams were good, the breaded shrimp was over freid, the cod breading was good but couldn't taste the cod. Couldn't get my drink till I asked then never was able to get a refill. But, the others I was with had a good experience.
