It is place you will never forget for relaxing and having a good meal Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I would rate this even lower than 1 star, if I could. First of all - the location is, of course, wonderful. The food is good, but nothing spectacular. And sadly at capital city prices. Overall, nice place to dine at once in a blue moon. BUT. The reason for my low rating is the shock I had yesterday. My mom and her friend wanted to have lunch. They check FB page - yes, says it is open from 12pm on Friday. So soon after 12pm they go there (11th of August, 2023). They are met by an extremely unpleasant waitress, who snaps at them saying: "Look more carefully, it clearly says online we're open only from 13pm". (At the time of writing this, I have their FB page open, that clearly states they're open from 12pm). ON TOP OF IT, this waitress unpleasantly announces: "And BY THE WAY, this is a restaurant, and normally when people go to restaurants, they BOOK their tables beforehand.". NEVER AGAIN will I go to this place. And I will recommend AGAINST it if any acquaintances will ask me about it. I won't do a lecture on how hospitality works, how client service and communication works. I won't even comment that, OH IMAGINE, even restaurants have walk-ins. I will say that employers should do a proper, thorough hiring process though. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Went there with a friend, a waitress with blond hair and lots of make up was not very attentive and perhaps borderline rude. When paying, the waitress was talking to another staff member and did not look at us and did not say thank you. It’s sad that we were made to feel not welcomed. The location is lovely but we probably won’t come back. Meal type Other Price per person €30–35 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Amazing location and food was excellent. Staff is friendly and attentive. Will return! 🐾 dog friendly is a BIG plus.

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant. This place is great! The atmosphere is extremely cozy and charming. Amazing cocktails, brilliant food and extraordinary service - staff is knowledgable and make great recommendations. Very personal approach, you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Mussels are to die for! :) 100% worth the price. Highly reccomend! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

Good and quality restaurant. Visiting at least once per year since 2004 as got my wedding at this place (although it was different owners). Food and service is perfect. Maybe little bit too pricey - but worth.

Tasty food, but NO vegan options on the menu. They offered grilled vegetables which were simple, but very tasty, a very small portion though, had to eat something when I got home. A friend got gazpacho, but the size of the portion was ridiculously small, especially for the price. The cocktails were good, definetley recommend those. The staff was Ok, but didn't seem very friendly. Probably won't come back

Outstanding, delicious and beautifully served food with great prices for such high quality dishes. Warm atmosphere and friendly jet professional service. Just wonderful location, right next to river Daugava, especially beautiful views in summer while dining in the terrace. Hands down my favorite restaurant in Latvia.

Gnaw Furry Beans

We had the potato and leek pancakes, steak, crème brûlée, crumble cake and wines and beers. We wanted to take the chef home to keep right after the starters and the same quality was retained throughout. Hope to visit the spa hotel next door again to have an excuse to come back to the restaurant too. Staff were very friendly and competent. If I could give them a 4.9 I would - the -0.1 would be for not serving the local wine. But stars are integer only, so a full 5 it is!
