My husband, teenage daughter and I had dinner at Bonkers last night. We were warmly welcomed and seated right away. We love the ambience. It exudes an Italian feel which is pleasantly comfortable and cozy. We had their Ahi Tuna, house salad, ceasar salad, salmon fillet, ribs, fries, mashed potato, lemonade, coffee, tiramisu, and hazelnut cheesecake while other guests adjacent to us had fine wine. We were served by Darci. She is wonderful and kind. Of all the restaurants we've been to, by far, this is the only place where we loved everything we consumed, and ended the evening with laughter. Food was mediocre but the fact that I said NO, when the waitress asked if I want deserts and then showed them anyway because the owner makes them, is annoying. Maybe the restaurant should respect the customers wishes. Would not recommend tris place at all. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Great food! There aren't a lot of restaurants in Page, but this one is one of the best. All the dishes we had were delicious (5 of us, don't remember all exactly other than we ate very well!). I am not sure what to say about this place. The staff is very young. I saw several employees putting their hands in their mouth and or nose and then touching the menus and other common items. The hostess did not know how to talk to anyone. She was nervous and told me there was a 30 minute wait. I told her that was fine. She didn’t take my name or number to call me when our table was ready. I had to remind her to do so. We went to “the bar” to wait for our table and we got asked to not sit on the right side as the wait staff uses it for “business.” There were dishes and trash all over. The left side of the bar was small and crowded and we were basically stuck up against the wall. The restaurant was understaffed and everyone was in panic mode. Again I saw the hostess put her hands in her hair and “shake out” her hair above a clean table. Our waitress was really on top of drink refills. However she was very aggressive and loud each time she came to the table. She made several apologies for the wait, but that was not what bothered us. There were several health code violations we could see and watched while we were there. There were not a lot of people but everyone was stressed and running and sweating in the food. This place would be a great candidate for bar rescue or one of those shows. Lots of potential, just lack of class and training. The food was average. Besides the wait, it was fine and we were ok waiting until we saw all the things we saw. I would not waste my time or money going back to this place. Excellent restaurant. Fast and friendly service, GF options available and good food. The Steak was perfectly seasoned and tasted great. Of course everything is very heavy (sautéed mushrooms in a creamy sauce, pasta not possible with olive oil, only with garlic butter etc) but that is just standard in the US. Good wine selection. When the check came, the younger lady had already written a service charge on it and asked: Is that OK? I asked: How do you mean, is that OK? She said: The service charge? Many foreigners don’t know how much to give. I told her she doesn’t need to suggest a tip, as I am a generous person and always give around 30% in the US. I understand that some people are indeed stingy / not knowledgeable but not everyone is that way. Would definitely return, when in Page! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Intimate feel, as if you entered into another timeline where great service is the norm, excellent food is expected and delivered on the regular. We felt as if in a movie as we enter and admire the murals of Lake Powell, and the cliff art of the Dine. Our server, Emma was perfect at making us feel right at home. Our appetizer was the seared tuna which melted away into your mouth. Our entrees, chicken Marsala and Chicken Parmesan, was delicious and filling. Even the apple cobbler with ice cream was out of this world. Thanks for such a wonderful evening out with family.
