Very good place for seafood. The fish and chips was really fresh. We also had the crab cake. Ask for the price before ordering if you want to avoid any surprise in your check. Really good food. Come here for Sunday brunch, because let me tell you, this is the place to be. A deceivingly large restaurant, this place is packed at all times. Thankfully even though they don’t take reservations, tables turnover quickly so our 45 minute wait was only 30 minutes which gave us a chance to get a drink at their full service bar (while their mimosas looked to be a popular get, their premade Bloody Mary’s were just alright). The staff is so nice and quick to be helpful. The food is great - can’t recommend the fish and chips or crab cake sandwich enough. They’re so fresh and fantastic. Looking around, the portions are MASSIVE, so splitting or bringing half of it home is very common. One note. It is VERY loud. I say that because my husband and I (both mid-30s) had to yell at one point to have a conversation. Other than that, great place and will definitely be back! Ok, hands down, probably the best crab cake & crab & artichoke dip I’ve ever had! The food here is so good I clearly neglected to take a pic before we devoured! I took a pic of the dip right before we took the last scoop. My husband barely got any and he’s the one who ordered it!! He almost ordered another but finished his crab soup and was temporarily satisfied until his crab cake meal arrived. My S-I-Ls also ordered a scallop pasta, honey biscuit shrimp, and their oyster Rockefeller that looked amazing also. Loved to be here for brunch/lunch!! Desiree was a great server, with very good suggestions! Best fried oysters I’ve had in a while, and BEST crab cake: jumbo lumps 👌👌👌 Also never had a mimosa that good! And the butter cake… omg! The wait time was reasonable for a Friday night. Nice atmosphere, large restaurant, two bars, two sets of bathrooms. Parking can be tricky as it’s a very small parking lot but we were able to get a spot. The food came out in a timely manner. Our server Jenna P was awesome she was knowledgeable about the day’s special, smiled, and had an overall pleasant demeanor. She checked on us throughout our dining experience not too much but not too little. The food was delicious; started with the steamed mussels and finished with that day’s special which was the stuffed lobster. Will definitely be going back to try the boatyard seafood tower! The food was divine. Everything came out fresh and season almost to perfection. The crab cake was almost better than mine very flavorful, it was not dry perfect temperature and delicious in every aspect. The fries could have been more crispier but it's okay next time I'll just ask for them to fry them hard. The garlic aioli sauce was to die for I thought it was going to be more of a mayonnaise type texture and I cannot stand mayonnaise but it was not and you can taste the bits of garlic in it. My taste buds were overwhelmed with excitement. It was a little packed but everybody was polite and respectful which made me feel really warm fuzzy inside. The staff were very helpful they were kind orders came out quickly. Don't buy the calamari if you prefer more rounds than legs or whatever they are. I was very disappointed about the calamari because I prefer the rounds and I was told that they would be more rounds than legs. However I was told that it came and the pre-mixed assortment so I couldn't be too upset. My friend got the oysters and she said they were great. I don't fool with those but her and her son tore them up. The dreams are even great as well I got pineapple juice with crown. I would come back again when the weather breaks so that I can go back to the museum as well.
