Pretty cool place; some people in our party got frustrated by the sun shining in their eyes, so if they had some thicker curtains it could help during evening times. The burgers are really thick, and the meat tastes awesome! I ordered the chicken fettuccine, it was pretty good, but I was a little disappointed it didn't actually have fettuccine noodles. I thought that was kind of weird, but it tasted okay. Also the restaurant looks like it's in an old hotel, so look for a hotel parking not restaurant parking and you will find it. They don't have a very big sign so it can be easy to miss. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Great place, Friendly staff, wonderful food, variety, far price, and calm atmosphere. Would highly recommend for date, business lunch, or just for a good meal. They really know how to cook a steak. We love the Bees Knees every time we go. The food is always ✨a-ma-zing✨. They do a wing special on Wednesdays that is to die for. Coincidentally it was also trivia night (which is every other week on Wednesdays), which was a blast for our table to play together. It was a busy night, but it felt like our waiter dropped the ball multiple times. He brought out the wrong drinks and struggled to split the check multiple times. We will definitely be going back because we love the food and the atmosphere. Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

My son and daughter in law love this place. The atmosphere is cute with bees hanging everywhere. The employees are friendly and helpful. They were happy to allow my grandchildren to split a plate, bringing them a plate to do so. For me, the food didn’t taste so great. My daughter in law loved hers. We ordered the same meal of brisket. I ordered sides of mashed potatoes with gravy and Mac ‘n’ cheese. Let me start by saying that my daughter in law loved her food. This is not her first time ordering this and it’s a favorite of hers. However, that being said, I found the brisket to be dry and flavorless. The mashed potatoes seemed to be made from powdered form. The gravy was not much to be desired. It didn’t taste like it was made from meat juices, but rather from a mix or something. And the big disappointment was the Mac ‘n’ cheese. While it was super cheesy, it was just bland. My husband also took bites of my food and didn’t like them either. He was glad he didn’t order them as he almost did. My husband ordered the prairie burger and fries which he loved. He ate every bite. It doesn’t make me happy to leave this kind of review. I thrive on leaving positive reviews. So, looking for the positive, the bathroom and establishment was clean, parking was plenty for the size of restaurant, wheelchair assessable, and friendly to children (in spite of being a bar). The perfect pre-flight pit stop! I was so impressed with the food flavor and presentation. I got the shrimp po boy - exactly what I needed. I especially loved that it came with delicious fresh tomato and cucumber. The shrimp were fantastic and not overdone (yay). I sat at the bar, and had a great server. The decor is quirky fun, comfortable, and clean. Great music. Good service. We ordered the wings- maybe the best I’ve ever had, bacon wrapped mushrooms, and the baked brie. The mushrooms were smokey yumminess, and the baked brie was delicious. Fresh fruit, honeycomb, and plenty of savory bites as well. The presentation on all three apps was gorgeous. The Bees Knees is a solidly dependable restaurant in Idaho Falls. The staff are friendly and professional, though be prepared to wait on the weekends during dinner rush as it can get busy. The interior of the restaurant is a bit quirky and can get loud when it’s packed. It’s a great place to eat with friends but I wouldn’t consider the best choice for an intimate, quiet, romantic dinner (unless you go quite early when it’s quieter). The food portions are generous and can easily be shared among two average adults or one very hungry teenager. The fries with thick balsamic are especially delicious. There is sometimes and over-abundance of cheese on some sandwiches and they can present you with the perplexing problem of how to actually fit it in your mouth to take a bite (they are quite tall). Another standout is the baked brie with honeycomb, and fresh seasonal fruit. It is served on a hot cast iron dish and is gooey and delicious. It is large enough to have as a meal. If you like your food gorgeously filthy (lots of cheese, sauces, large portions) then you will thoroughly enjoy Bee’s Knees. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Amazing! We were fresh off the plane from Texas and STARVING! Ended up at Bees Knees and I am so glad we did! The food was so flavourful and the portions were fantastic for the price. Our server Morgan was friendly and quick. We ordered the crab and spinach dip with balsamic toast, fish and chips and the Honey Ham/pineapple/grilled cheese. So glad we started our vacation with such a great experience! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Great place to eat. We took our time going there but it’s been worth the wait. The food was outstanding and very large portions. The two soups that I have had there was super. I should have had a big bowl of the soup but I ordered lol. The ham and cheese sandwich was great. It kind of a Hawaiian Pizza on a roll. The ham was not sliced ham but pork shoulder ham carved up and strategically placed on the bun and also a slice of pineapple plus a abundance of cheese. The sauce was killer. I couldn’t eat it all or even half of it. So it will make a great leftover dinner later. The second time I went I took my wife and our daughter and it was no fluke the food was just as good. They have a full bar as well. The service was great Mary was the first server we had and even though her leg was hurting her she made us feel welcome even though it was a big group she did an awesome job. Dillion was our server today and he was attentive without being over bearing. The take turns picking music and the music today was super classic soul what wasn’t to love about that. Will have to go back again to try the desserts some of them have some different names so need to try them and see if they are as interesting as their names on the menu. So check out Bees Knees I don’t think you will be sorry.
