I doubt i will ever come back to this bar. The waiter asked for a ID, but i didn't have any on my at the time. The waiter said i can't drink my beer, i have just ordered (i just turned 18 this winther). I paid 90 nok for a small beer, but than she just came and took it away from me without a refound. Hope they will change their alcoholic politics soon. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

This pub is located on the right side of the entryway to the Radisson Blu hotel and has a very casual atmosphere. You don't have to be a hotel guest to visit. As this is a shoes-on place, we enjoyed going there after a long day outside in the polarnight. The food is comforting and tasty. We went there for the pizza Margherita and came back for the cheesy fries - you should really try those cheesy fries! The bartenders are friendly, and the service is great. We also went there on December 25th as the pub organized an "Ugly Christmas Sweater Party" and had great fun. If you're visiting Longyearbyen, don't miss out: Go to Barentz Gastropub, have a local beer, try a pizza, and enjoy some cheesy fries! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Our order for pizza was forgotten about, so with a reminder we got it in 45 minutes. The 4 cheese pizza wasn't the best, but the Margarita was fine. But hey, it's the most northern bar in the world 😊 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes Margherita Pizza

Pizzas are great and the Spitsbergen pilsner is spot on. Lots of different people visit and it's always lively. A good place to chill after a few hours out on the snow. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Margherita Pizza

This pub is under the Radisson Blu Hotel and it's a part of it. I was told it's the northern most pub in the world. To start with, it didn't look unique or any extraordinary place. The interior is quite modern and doesn't justify anything with being a northern pub. There was nothing old or vintage stuff inside, or a compass 🧭 or anything which relates it to it's location or a special place. They do serve local beer and ale, various other drinks along with limited food items. Its a popular place because there aren't many places nearby for drinks and a social gathering. Overall, it's a basic pub and nothing much special about it. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Really relaxed atmosphere, great for after a hectic day out exploring Svalbard. The pizza was amazing and the chips great. Claimed as being the 'Most northern pub in the world', it certainly serves food that would make you question if that were true- how could they get great food this high up?!
