When it comes to local mom and pop diners, there’s no place like Artie’s. They’ve been part of Kokomo for more than 80 years! The food is fresh, delicious, and served surprisingly fast. The owners are so friendly and hardworking. I had the hand breaded tenderloin and fries. There were several tempting daily specials to choose from as well, but when you’re in the mood for an Indiana hand breaded tenderloin nothing else will do. The street parking is limited, but there’s usually plenty of parking in the lot north of the building. Well, visiting Kokomo, I was told that I had to try the tenderloin from Artie’s! So glad that we did because it was delicious. Their cheeseburgers are pretty awesome too. The restaurant is very small but perfect for us to go order. Everyone was very polite and My order was ready right on time. Highly recommend this local gem.
