Cozy place with friendly people. Great staff. Clean. Terrific food from the kitchen, cooked fresh, not from frozen. Well-stocked bar. Reminds me of a neighborhood pub. Wide variety of entertainment options, like darts, pool, gaming, jukebox. Don't have to be a veteran to enter. Smoking permitted. Entrance in the back.

I always have a good time working here, we take pride and love in the food we cook for people and the people there treat each other like family and the bartenders always stay on top to keep people happy.

Always welcoming, and I really enjoy talking with the members up there. They contribute back to the city and schools and help where it is needed in the surrounding areas! They are an asset to this small town!

Just a good down home "Bo-Dunk" Country Backwoods type place.. That USA a good comment just FYI.. BoDunk to me is a smaller friendly awesome place off beaten path.. Plenty of Vets to thank for their service.. Good for all ages. Pool tables.. Everyone is very friendly. I will be back!!

I can't say Enough about this Wonderful Military Post. It's a place where you are always Welcome. People are So Friendly. Very Respectful place. It's a Joy each and everytime I walk through the doors. They just opened back up Friday night Steak dinner with all the trimmings 6/19/2020. $16 a plate. Steak made the way you like them tender and the steaks are almost as big as the plate large baked potatoes, salad. Roll and dessert. They do Christmas for kids and So Much more. It's a Privilege to Visit All the Veterans who fought for Our Free in this Country. 5 ☆☆☆☆☆ Located off of Highway 276 in Tawakoni Tx, next to the City Park at the Lake. Great Organization to Join. Only been there a couple of times, once for karaoke, and once just to have a few. The bartenders are friendly and experienced, there is pool and games to play. They have pool tournaments on certain days. The clientele can be very cliquish and stand offish if not a regular. Last time we went in there on a Saturday night, we were turned away at 10 pm because they were"closing". Whatever, I can certainly live without this place.

The American veterans Club is a little out-of-the-way on Friday nights to have a really good barbecued steak night and it's a good place for the older vets that hang out and talk about all War Stories or what it was like when they were in many moons ago
