This bar provides you with nice food and a place to rest after a long walk around Reighard's Gas Station - one of the oldest Gas Stations in America. The hallmark of Al's Tavern is serving nicely cooked hamburgers, buffalo wings and cheese steaks. As many visitors say, draft beer is really good. This place is well known for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. Prices are found adequate here. Al's tavern has awesome food. Their wings in specific. The last few times I've ordered wings from Al's, I've had to re-cook them. This visit my family and I ordered a large takeout order. Staff was great, food was very mediocre and undercooked. For the amount of money spent and the quality of everything besides the pizzas, I regret suggesting a takeout order for an easy big family dinner of wings and pizza. I went here based on a recommendation of the wings. I had the wings and an Altoona style pizza. The wings were big and cooked perfectly. The Altoona Style pizza was unique.
