All the seafood was bland. I had a mixture of clams, mussels, crab legs and shrimp. The mussels and were horrible and the clams were not even fully complete because we got them still closed. The “old bay” That was provided to help with the flavor did not help. The soups wee ok at best but it was also the best thing the group had. The quesadillas didn’t have anything extra, just cheese with the meat you wanted. The service started out great but definitely slacked mid-way through. I came to Abner’s this evening thinking that I would enjoy some of the delicious crabs and was treated with disrespect and discrimination. I have been a customer for over a decade, driving an hour to and fro and I have never been treated like I was today. To make matters worse, I was told that the individual is the daughter in law of the owner. This lady spoke to me and my family as if we were trash. I am glad we have a video of the encounter.

Visited Md and had never eaten at this crab house before. Staff were friendly but very disorganized. Waited forever for our order for four people and the place was less than half full. They started bringing food piecemeal because it was taking so long. Two people in our group had finished eating by the time they brought food for the other two. I had the flounder sandwich and it was OK at best. I asked for lettuce and tomato with it and it came with nothing else on it but that. There was some sauce on the side. They were out of two of the three side dishes that you could choose with sandwiches. We ate indoors but we were annoyed by flys during the entire meal. I’ve visited and eaten at this place at least 5-7 times. Out of those times I’ve probably had “good” service once and that was in the gaming room at the bar. Each time I walk in I receive little to NO warm welcome or greeting. The food was the only thing that kept me coming back however, today was the last straw. Not only did I walk in and NONE of the approximately 4-5 employees greeted me. I sat waiting at the register for maybe 2 minutes before the guy who was getting up from what it seems to be his lunch asked me if I had been helped. After he asked a waitress to help me, she gave me my food with no napkins or condiments. I had to literally walk back inside and request it and even after that, this is what she gave me with a smirk. 😒 So over them. I’ll stick to Traders!
