Happened to be in the neighborhood at lunchtime and hoped for a good local diner. Turned out to be outdated, very limited basic menu. My cheeseburger and fries were average at best. The energy was pretty low level, and the service was polite, but server seemed bored. I wouldn't go back again. Classic food, small town diner look and feel, a few beers to choose from. I keep coming back for lunch because it's a nice atmosphere to sit and chat with work friends while eating lunch. I try to eat at Zekes at least once a month.As far as I am concerned they have the best no frills burgers in Bloomington. The staff especially the lady behind the bar are second to none for attentive service!! Highly recommend.
