This pizza is superb! I love the freshness of veggies and the texture of the crust. Cheese is also in a great balance with the sauce. Besides, if you’re a spicy person, you must try the red chili flakes they offer, it’s not a typical one that you have in your pantry but the one with a mix of three different types of chili! It just adds flavor to the pizza and brings it to the next level! I definitely would revisit this place again if I have a chance to go back there. As a New Yorker, I was skeptical of the hype behind this place. Turns out, everyone was right. The pizza is unique but well executed and not expensive. The restaurant has a great vibe and the staff is wonderful as well. Great stop in Golden if you are just passing thru, and an even better regular spot if you live in the area. 10/10! Woody's is a go to place any time I'm in Golden. The pizza is so good and cooked to perfection. The Lemonade's are the best I've had anywhere. The atmosphere is fun and the staff are very friendly. Good value for single slides or just soup or just salad or all in a combo. You can order pizza or sandwiches and such off the menu or try the pick your own buffet. Pizza is good, ill leave it there. The daily beer cheese potato soup is a 10, especially with a handful of homemade croutons tosses in. And, the salad bar is very good ingredients wise, only ask is they buy an egg slicer for the hard boiled eggs. They are put out whole, and would take just a second to slice with a simple tool. Id give them 4.5 stars if that was an option. This place is always busy. When i went. It was jam packed. Very stressful for me. Luckily the take out is outside in the back. Peacefully quiet. . I finally decided to try their take out cause i saw they have take and bake. N at 20% off! Huge bonus. The ingredients are incredibly fresh. I was thoroughly impressed. They give you a good balance too. Just enough ingredients. Everything was placed carefully. I could tell they care about the pizzas they make! . The dough is very clean tasting and perfectly doughy. Its some of the best dough ive had. Honestly this is the dough i try to achieve when i make at home from scratch. . The sauce is from what i can tell. A freshly made very herbal type of pizza sauce. Compliments their flavor pallet well. I got a half n half. Half meats and half supreme. I noticed they marinade or soak their red onions. Delicious. The mushrooms too are pre sautéed i believe. To the bacon that is smoked. You can tell they put effort into every ingredient. N while im lenient to ever give 5 stars. I think these people deserve it and good review. Every one i ever see here is having a great time. One bonus of take n bake though i dont get the luxury of wood firing the pizza. I can under bake the pizza just enough that left overs arent over cooked when reheated. I look forward to enjoying these left overs. Great pizza, service and atmosphere. The hostess was very friendly and willing to seat us on the patio even though nobody was out there. Our waiter was super accommodating, kind and attentive (I think his name was Steve? long hair, super nice!). He checked in on us frequently + cracked a few windows when it was getting warm. On our most recent road trip we made it a point to drive through Golden Co. Just to try Woody’s. So Glad we did… Everything was outstanding from the staff, service and obviously the pizza buffet. Amazing spot! Had to wait 10 min but they made it so easy with text when table was ready we walked around for a bit. The server was awesome. Food was delicious. Try the peppered sweet bacon it’s epic. Pizza buffet is not typical. The guys will make a requested pizza which was super cool. Salad bar was stocked and fresh. Great spot to go get some amazing food and an all you can eat pizza, salad and soup buffet. This is the greatest, variety of pizzas to pick from or you can request a style of pizza to have the chef's make. The salad tasted fresh and the soup was equally awesome. The wait wasn't bad, you give the people your number and they text you when the table is ready so you can go walk around. Clean inside, service was fast and friendly.
