Excellent food and service with fresh offerings. The menu changes with what is in season so there is always something new to try. We came for dinner and everything was flavorful and well prepared and we enjoyed every bite. They have an excellent list of cocktails as well that we enjoyed and paired well with dinner. While the prices are higher they are well worth the quality of the food and the experience. An excellent place for a date night out or dinner with friends. Pretty lousy service. We asked for a table by the window and the host said that it wasn’t available. Nobody ever sat there. The food was all too sweet even the butter for the bread. The cod was overcooked and the burger was too charred and too sweet and too small. Nothing was done right here. Even one of the staff kept coming by and talking to our kid because we were sat by the service booth even thought it wasn’t busy and there were other tables available. Another terrific evening at WHT. Outstanding service. All of our meals were excellent. Oysters, tartar, pierogis, beet salad, burger. Excellent wines and a fabulous martini. What's not to like? Went for the first time to this restaurant on a Saturday night. Beautiful ambiance and the service was good. We started with the Autumn squash soup and oysters. WOW was that soup delicious. We could have licked the bowl. My husband had the Potato crusted cod which he thoroughly enjoyed. There was a really delicious citrusy sauce with it that brightened up the dish so nicely. I ordered the Grass-fed steak frites, medium. The steak came to the table medium-rare and cold. I asked for it to be warmed up on the grill and came back the same. The fries were hot but nothing special. Just plain, thicker fries. I was expecting the nice, thin crispy fries that typically come with steak frites. Woods Hill Table has greatly improved in all aspects since it first opened some years ago. With a dairy allergy, I appreciate knowing what I can eat without modification. Really nice time at the Woods Hill Table in Concord. Our server (a nice gentleman wearing a Hawaiian shirt) did two things especially well … first he was super friendly and treated my kids with kindness. Second, he cautioned us up front the kitchen would be slow due to a few different factors that night. Not to worry though because he kept the delicious cocktails from the creative drink menu coming fast. And he got the kids food o it quick. I had the smoked duck leg which might have been my favorite duck dish ever! My wife had the steak frites, which was cooked perfectly. A special shout-out to the fresh ice cream … also some of the best I’ve tasted in a restaurant!
