Great little snack store Windy City Hotdogs. Awesome shaved ice, not so much shaved as it is a snow cone but tastes really good. Few different choices of flavors. We've had the Nacho Supreme, Chili cheese fries, hotdogs & just about every flavor of shaved ice. All pretty dang good. Inside a great big park with a huge playground, baseball field, skate park & a waking trail that goes around the whole park. Ramadas & charcoal grills. Wow, wow, wow. I'm the kind of guy the searches out a good dog, and Windy City Dogs did me a solid for my craving. Simple menu, great service and a clean shop! The dogs were so good I ate 3, and squeezed in some chili cheese fries. Keep it up you all! Amazing! This chili dog, OMG! Rude customer service. I personally saw how rude he was with the door dash people. From calling them “door dash” in a disrespectful tone of voice from telling them that he used to do door dash and that he did not know why people do door dash. All in front of other customers and once again the tone of his voice. Maybe he feels he already made it in life just for the fact he is all busy preparing hot dogs for 2 customers at the same time while the place is empty. Not coming back here! Great service and great hot dogs and nachos. Been coming to the park for awhile now and never stopped in but I'm glad we did today. Will definitely come back. Edit to say never mind. Won't be coming back. First time was great. Second time he was a little frustrated because my kids weren't sure of the flavor they wanted on their shaved ice(it's far from Hawaiian shaved ice like advertised) I was trying to hurry my kids to choose because I could see his frustration. Then this last time was the last time. We did not have a complicated order and I was ordering one thing at a time but apparently he wasn't understanding that. I guess there is a specific way he wants you to order but won't tell you and then gets upset you don't know what he is wanting. When we left my 6 year old daughter asked if we could pray for him because he should be happy and he scared her with how he was treating me. Edit: Mocking a 6 year old because your employee was rude and inaccurately quoting the Bible just shows the lack of class this establishment has. I never judged just stating facts. I was nothing but kind to the employee, he however doesn't know what it means to be kind. Next time find a verse that actually fits. Because any negative review you guys get you act like a child not getting your way. If you don't want negative reviews change how you treat paying customers. This place kinda fell off. you can't eat inside anymore. restrooms seem to be permanently closed. tacky handwritten signs all over saying do not touch and out of order. pretty sad looking. really used to like this placE.
