Traveling with a colleague who has dietary restrictions- this place was a gold mine! They were THRILLED bybthe options. I was thrilled with my Chutney Chicken Salad sandwich! They atmosphere was bright and spacious, yet had a great community vibe! Love! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Wild Oats is great. They have a great variety of items like soups and sandwiches, but their baked goods are amazing. We got a selection of cupcakes, a lemon bar, and the star of the show, a homemade Swiss roll. So good!! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
It’s fine and one of the few places in the area that won’t leave you feeling like you ate your body weight in grease. That said, I hope they pay their employees $20/hour, that the benefits they offer aren’t only made available to full time employees, and that they contribute to food pantries or other initiatives that provide healthy food to folks who aren’t fortunate enough to be able to pay $17 for some chopped lettuce and a few cucumbers. TL;DR: Get ready to spend $20 when your head tells you it’s only worth $10. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1

It's a nice place to go to once in awhile but prices can be high , the lay out is kind of all over the place and sometimes the line to check out snakes throughout the store. They offer bake goods and many different kinds of premade foods and they have an area where you can order sandwiches. If you want to eat there they have an out door patio where you can sit but wouldn't be good for winter months or bad weather. Service Take out Meal type Other Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Brunswick Cream Cupcake

Wild Oats is a community staple, and a great supporter of local organizations as well. They have a huge variety, and it's very very easy to walk out of there having spent $30 on what was meant to be a grab-and-go breakfast. Overall, this place is a bit pricey, but fine for an occasional indulgence. My only problem with Wild Oats is ALLERGY contamination. Sure, no one eats at a bakery like this expecting a perfect, sterile, contaminant-free kitchen....but it's not an issue that I've had with other bakeries in town. My allergy is to almonds specifically (not other tree nuts or peanuts), so I carefully avoid items with almonds in the ingredients.....but without fail, I get a reaction right on schedule whenever I eat here. Clearly there's some cross contamination happening. Luckily, it's mild, and it's something I put up with because sometimes you just want a dang brownie....Still, someone with a more severe allergy would be best to avoid eating here. Don’t stop here if you have little willpower! 😂 Everything in the bakery case looks in need of taste testing. We stuck to healthier fare, of which there are LOTS of options, and enjoyed sandwiches and wraps. The seating area can accommodate big families or groups of friends. The menu options for healthy food are delicious, and include options for vegetarians or gluten-free palates. There is a great selection of Maine themed items for gifting or taking home, drinks, coffee, pastries, cupcakes, cakes, pies, mousse, cookies, snacks … and on and on 😍 Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
I ordered 3 different vegan/gf whoopie pies! SO good. The gf granola has been excellent as well. Would love to go back and try more goodies! So great to have so many GF and DF options! Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
