Was just at a Thomas Keller restaurant days before coming here and this was FAR better. The "shrimp n grits" and broccolini was absolutely delicious. Watched beautiful pizzas coming out of the oven. Ordered a pizza for take out here and the bar area was busy but friendly. Staff was really nice and let me grab a beer while I waited. We ordered the Kale & Salsiccia pizza since it sounded really good and different. Plus Kale is healthy right? It was delicious, the flavor of the carmelized onions and the sausage so so good, it was a bit sweet, peppery and a little earthy from the kale. The cheese was pretty generous, but not overwhelming. It held up perfectly well for my walk back before we opened it up. Super happy with the pizza and would certainly order it again. Great location too. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food and the service were fantastic. We had the mushroom pizza and the soppressata pizza as well as a beet salad. The flavors were awesome and actually, the whole menu sounded awesome, I wish I could have eaten all of it. Our server, Cody (Kody?)?, was super cool and gave us some great recommendations for hikes and activities in the area. He also advised us on menu items and he did not steer us wrong. Honestly…we came here after reading an article about the owner putting up a ‘no public access’ gate to the beach on his property due to entitled, rude tourists giving his business a hard time. I respect that kind of pushback and wanted to give him our business. I’m very happy we did, what a cool local spot!
