Surprisingly the best spinach dip I've had in recent memory. Wasn't expecting that. Just came to catch up over beers with a family member in town briefly staying near the airport and all our food was really good. Way better than I expected for casual / bar-style food. Stopped by for lunch with a friend who recommended it. We walked in and we're promptly seated, given the menu and time to settle. The server came back for our drink orders and I was already pleased as they have a sour on the beer menu. Water was served with the drinks. I ordered the southern salad with blackened chicken. I usually order the dressing on the side but forgot this time. I was delighted once again to receive a perfectly dressed salad with a freshly prepared chicken that was moist and not overly seasoned. My friend ordered a club sandwich that looked just as delicious as my salad. The sandwich was served with its own delicious-loking salad. Overall, a great culinary start to a Renton adventure. The train wreck was the best egg dish i've ever had!! Also the San Diego burger was perfectly cooked and delicious. Our server was very nice and helpful as well. The place was very aesthetic and had a fun vibe to it as well, 10/10 would recommend. I cannot rave about this place enough, they actually seem to put care into their food and service. Every item ordered was amazing and had multiple layers, from the amazing beef stroganoff, incredible ribeye steak, cooked to perfection, served with mashed potatoes that I'm still trying to figure out all the layers, each bite I found different notes. Even the roasted vegetables were on a differ level with not only carrots and broccoli, but roasted bell peppers onions, cauliflower, and zucchini. Then somehow dessert still tempted me, getting the blueberry cheesecake, served with fresh made and incredibly fluffy and light whipped cream, accented with blueberries. Taking bites together and separate all reveal different flavors. It is absolutely incredible and will be going back as often as possible. Sat on the patio, the inside bartender ended up seating and having to wait on us even though there was a worker covering the other table outside. Beer and apps were good but the wait in-between water refills and beers was long. Again, the bartender did great considering he had a full house inside to take care of, just would have been ideal if the outdoor server would have taken on our table of two as well. Very nice food, really nice waitresses and all in all a solid place to grab some food with family and/or friends. The opportunity to sit outside (with your dog) was something we had hoped for and we weren't disappointed. The selection of food was good too and tasted really good. Update 8//23 As I suspected, when they're less busy, the food and service improves significantly. I really enjoyed my most recent visit. Update 6/24/23 I'm disappointed. I would advise not going when they are busy. We waited 10 minutes before the bartender had to serve us. I felt bad for her. I don't know if it's understaffed or overwhelmed but I ordered fried egg whites and got...whatever that was. 5/2023 Service is hit or miss. Servers are cordial and about half bring water and refill coffee. The other half you have to flag down and ask. Food is consistently good, though. This is a small side note but I like that the pancakes have the slightly crisp a long the perimeter. I like their drink selection, they have some good ales that go with breakfast, especially a vanilla cream ale that's light and refreshing. 2 coffees, 2 entrees and 1 beer will run you approx $45 or so. We stopped for brunch because they have patio seating. I ordered French toast, it was ok. It was moist but has no flavor. The syrup did help but they did not give me enough. I asked for me more but our server did not bring me any. I waited for awhile before my order showed up. Service was ok. Everyone enjoyed their sandwiches.
