This place was poppin, music was good, food and fries were fantastic. Our waitress was super nice and the staff looked like the enjoy there job and carried a smile throughout the time my wife and I were there. I don't normally leave reviews. But this place is a wonderful find with good service, food that fills you, and a quaint and pleasant atmosphere. I have worked food service off and on for over 20 yrs. The west pioneer grill is a place I will recommend and come back to as it meets my standards(and they are fairly high). Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Terrible mixed drinks for nearly stadium prices but they do add a lot of thought to the drinks they do make. 9 dollar beers. I got a double vodka and I couldn't even taste liquor. The food is solid, but it's not as though it's better than Shari's, but it's consequent and chain places are not. It's nice to see a place serve a good breakfast all day. Chicken and waffles was saved by the side of sausage gravy. Lots of sausage in the gravy. I'd recommend breakfast at this place. General burgers are ok, but nothing memorable. Most everything was prepared well. Sick to basics/breakfast here and it's worth coming back. The chicken and waffles I had was rough and almost made me not fine back. This was truly amazing. A rare gem these days for a great breakfast. Perfect poached eggs and sauce, meat was so so good and the Hash Browns were perfectly done. Brought home leftovers to share with spouse and they were also blown away with how good it was (and that was two days later!). There were four of us that came at noon and all left more than pleased with the quality and service! I don't normally drop a one-star review, but today was one of those opportunities for a business to self reflect and consider: Are we really providing the best customer experience possible? Sadly, the answer here is no. Allow me a moment of your time to explain. My family and I are recent transplants to the area and have desperately been seeking out our new haunt and were hoping the West Pioneer Grill was it. We were slowly greeted by what I believe was the hostess. She relented that they needed to clean a table in order to seat us. No problem. Take your time. ... sadly, she did just that. Not a big deal, though. I'm patient. Awesome, I exclaim, we were eventually seated quickly and following a quick glance through the menu for the corn beef and the huevos rancheros. Sweet, both are available! Our hostess asks if we need drinks. I'm good with a coffee and the wife will take water... which she promptly returned with. Now we wait. And watch. And signal the staff. And watch the table next dine on what appeared delicious. And signal its praises to their waitress. And finish up, and they pay and leave. Still, we wait. Frustrated, and now past the point of trying to grab the staff's attention, I'm working on principal and a single cup of coffee. 20 minutes go by... We're out. We walk to the register, attempt to pay but there seems to be some confusion why we're there. Do we want a table? No I reply, I'd like to pay for my cup of coffee... more confusion. As the person behind the register is thumbing thru the tickets on her screen. Finally, she turns to me and says 9 dollars and some change... in unison "for a cup of coffee"!?? We were all a little surprised!. Oh just one cup... that's 4 and some change. Disgusted at the complete lack of situational awareness, I dropped a 5 on the counter and walked out. Now again, I want to be clear, rarely am I one to complain but low blood sugar and a little hanger got the best of me... I called and asked for the manager. She says her name, +1 for accountability. I say hi, my name is Kris, and we were just in. She recalled the entire event. I explained my side of the events, she countered with an apology, and a "we were busy." -1 for accountability. After a short attempt to explain how the situation should have been resolved, I believe she did come to the realization her team blew it and kinda threw her under the bus for it. The food was excellent, our server wS excellent. Tiny place, old but a do not miss for sure AND they serve breakfast anytime. Eggs Benedict was spot on, the chef knows how to make a poached egg, I was pleasantly surprised. Yay ! Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Great small town feel cafe for a big appetite! Highly recommend you give this place a try! The customer set was excellent (a team of waitstaff, not just one assigned to you) and saw them helping one another out during a busy shift. The kitchen hit a home run with their smoked Gouda and egg burger and the kids burger was more than enough for my 10 year old. I had the classic Italian with grilled onions and it did not disappoint! Food was unbelievably good! I had The Desperado...very tasty! Atmosphere was nice and clean. Music was a bit loud ... if your wanting to relax for lunch. Server was attentive but unhappy. Great overall experience. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $20–30

Fantastic American food whether it’s delivered or in store. Very consistent with their burgers, sandwiches, and shakes. I highly recommend trying some of the different shake flavors such as the toasted marsh mellow. The burgers are flavorful and they’re accompanied with a large portion of seasoned or unseasoned fries. The only change that would be positive is possibly hiring another waitress so the ones that work there don’t have to go solo.
