We have been going here for about 8 months or so for their Sunday brunch, we have also been by a few times for dinner! They are consistent, kind, and have some of the best quality food around. We have had nothing but great experiences here and we absolutely love the staff and the chill but fun environment they create! Definitely give it a try! We have been wanted to come to Weller's Bistro since we moved to the SLC area, and finally got there today. The food was amazing! I used to work a lot in the Frankfurt area, and this is the best German food that I have had outside of Germany! We had the Schnitzel and Frikadellen and both were wonderful, as were the German potato salad and the spaetzle. Very flavorful and good sized portions. And we took the strudel with us home for later...just finished that and it was great as well. On top of that, Amy was a wonderful server, and we met the owner and main chef, Jan, who is originally from Dortmund. All great people. Highly, highly recommended! Wherever you live in the greater Wasatch Front area, it is worth the drive to Layton. Service was impeccable. Food was delicious. Great beer too. We went around 2pm on a Friday, so it wasn't crowded. Atmosphere was chill. Pretty casual. I ordered Das Snitzel with mushrooms sauce. It's was fantastic, and even better the next day! I personally didn't care for the cabbage, but the potatos were delicious. Will definitely go back next time I'm in Utah !!! Came for a dinner date night for my birthday and Wellers never disappoints! We sat at the bar and Mara was so attentive to our every need. The whiskey lemonade was wonderful and I will dream about the Brussel sprouts! I also tried a seasonal mulled wine that was warm and a great way to end my meal. We arrived with a group of 8 and they were very accommodating to have us sit all together. We started with pretzels and currywurst (sausage) and fries to share. Our waitress Kayleen was amazing! She provided extra plates right away, asked frequently how everyone was doing, explained the specials - just very nice! Then we ordered Goulash, Sauerbraten, Pizza, Salad and everyone was very happy with their choices. Big portions, fresh and delicious! Thank you for a great evening! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Food was delicious. I really enjoyed the German Dip sandwich with Brussels Sprouts and the Artichoke Dip appetizer. They didn't put ice in the water and I honestly don't like ice water, so I was very pleased. Our server kept my water glass full of cold-- but not too cold --water.
