The staff was friendly and attentive. I was excited to try the gf items. We bought a gf poppyseed muffin, gf choc chip cookie, and two gf cupcakes: one chocolate with vanilla buttercream and the other was vanilla with lemon buttercream. Unfortunately, none of the items were enjoyable when my husband and I shared them. The muffin was dry and chewy while the and cookie was dry, crumbly, and hard. The buttercream on both cupcakes was super dense and difficult to eat, and we tried to enjoy the "muffin" part of the cupcake. Every item we purchased was disappointing, and left a bad first impression. If we lived closer, or if there were a few chairs to sit-in, it would be easier to give feedback.
Stopped by in the morning and got an iced latte and a coffee cake type muffin (forgot name) and the young ladies at the counter were very polite and welcoming. They gave me a free "oopsie" Banana Split cupcake and it was so good!
I was expecting a sugary frosting but it was more like a whipped cream, not too sweet, delicately flavored evenly, and almost home baked tasting. Winner. I bet these would taste even better cold.
The coffee cake muffin perfectly matched the iced latte. Both baked items were tender, moist, and not stomach ache inducing. Speaking of that, if you like the sweeter starbucks type coffee you'll have to ask for more syrup.
